I got the coconut curry pho which actually tasted really good, however not super sure if it is anything close to pho more than the fact that it’s noodles in soup. My friend got some beer chicken dish and said it was alright. The food came out really quickly, would say it’s a pretty good spot to grab a quick bite.”

“We love the Chop Suey Hut! We don’t live in the area and found this Restaurant by accident and we are glad we did. We drive about 35 to 40 minutes at least once a week to have their Egg Rolls and Mongolian Beef. It’s the best ever. We have even brought finicky family here and they loved it and will make it a regular dining location. Our waitress’ have always been super sweet and attentive. The food is presented very well and so Yummy!”

“I love the spacious and bright upscale ambiance. One of the few Chinese restaurants here in Streeterville, so I had to support! The food here is great. I ordered the beef chow fun, and it was pan fried to perfection! I think this dish is actually better than a lot of the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown! The portions were also very generous! I was so full by the time I finished. I think I could have split this up between 2 meals, but I didn’t have a way to take this back with me! The service was great. Overall, a really good experience!”

“Quite enjoyed lunch here! Malaysian food options in the city are very limited sadly, but this does a pretty great job of satisfying this space. The service was good, though we were the only ones around I think at the time we went. The space is fine, but I don’t think you come here for the ambiance, you come here for the food! Looking forward to coming back and trying more options! Highlights were the nasi lemak and roti paratha. Both the beef rendang and the ayam merah were delicious for the nasi lemak. The roti paratha is buttery and wonderful and the chicken curry it comes with was rich and flavorful—we really really liked that. I would probably go with the ayam merah or the chicken curry with my nasi lemak next time, both were delicious. The beef rendang is also a solid option for those who prefer beef. Be aware it is a little fatty. Cumin lamb skewers were good but pretty straightforward in flavor. Also a small serving. We enjoyed both the dessert options, but they weren’t exceptional. Pulut hitam is on the watery end of a rice pudding type of dish, but with a deeper rounder sweetness than a typical rice pudding. I had never had something like this before and glad I tried it. The coconut pudding had a lighter and sweet flavor, with a delicate consistency served inside a coconut. I’d recommend both, but if you’re in the mood for a more robust dessert option these may not fully satisfy.”

“My son was in town and he loves Thai food. My family never had it so we said we would try it. All I can say is "Wow". There were 8 of us in total and not one of them complained. The food was sooo good. I started eating then realized I wanted to take a picture of the food. Oops. The flavor was spot on. We ordered a few appetizers. One was Grilled Spicy Beef which was excellent and not too spicy. Crab Rangoon - I don't eat it but everyone else loved it. My main dish was Pad Kee Mao which is the drunken noodle. Best Asian food I've ever had. Everyone else was in agreement. We will definitely return. The waitress was very personable as well. My son was able to speak to her in Thai. Great experience!”

“Uniquely decorated ramen shop in the heart of Chicago. There are many hexagonal pods and private booths that will make things feel like you are dining alone. Servers typically won't approach your booth, you'll have to push the button but they respond very quickly. There are some nice specials for solo or duo diners. Menu overall is fairly simple with the kinds of things you'd expect in a Japanese restaurant. The ramen we got was flavorful and the spicy one I ordered was actually very spicy. My only complaint would be the beer I ordered, it was not a full pour and for $8 I'd expect a full glass. Definitely worth your visit if you're looking for Ramen and you're in River North”

“I have so much to say about this place. We LOVED it! So we give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! We went on a Sunday early afternoon and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted very amicably by one of the hostesses. We were seated by the floor to ceilings windows; and the lighting and the rather calm and relaxing ambience were inimitable! We loved our food it was palatable! First we started with the Thai Ice tea, something I’ve never had. It was different, but I quickly acquired the taste. Our starters were the Egg rolls which came in an order of 2, they are vegetarian and big! (Hey, I’m not complaining 😉). By far the BEST egg rolls I’ve ever had!! I highly recommend. Little greasy, but delicious! We also had a house salad side and the ginger dressing was surprisingly good, I’m picky and it settled well with me. Our meals were the Orange chicken and the Tofu Pad See Eww. We were beyond pleased with the flavor, the freshness of vegetables and the presentation of our dishes. Service was great, our server was friendly, kind, patient and helpful when it came to explaining menu items. The restaurant was clean, and we even saw small private booth area where people can dine in and have to take off their shoes. When it was time to leave, our server thanked us and an older gentleman came out by the bar and also thanked us and said goodbye as he bowed his head. We were truly humbled by this. The restaurant is located in a private plaza area so the parking lot is huge. You won’t have issues with parking and it’s handicapped accessible. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend Thai Hut if you want to have a great dining experience. Thai Hut, you have our Patronage! “It was my first time in Cebu restaurant, I really was hoping to interact with someone who can speak Visayan since the restaurants name is derived from the Queen City of the South, Cebu, but I was disappointed, lol... I tried the kinilaw, which had a spin, they added an espuma (foam) to the dish, I find it clever but would have been better if the fish was already marinated in calamansi with some vinegar to absorp its flavor instead of tasting the "fishy" taste of the fish. Their Tocino pork belly was good and serving is good for 2 for just under $20! Their drink choices are awesome but only got to try the coffee with ube foam, taste ok. Their Halo halo is a must try, I love how they spread it out in a bowl and added ube flavoring to the shaved ice. Though the inside is clean, the front of the store would probably benefit from a make over since it was vandalized. I will still go back to this place soon if ever Im in Chicago...btw, parking offstreet is free!”

Crab Rangoon’s are my fave. Thick and stuffed with ample flavor. Suggestion: make a SPICY Crab Rangoon VERSION!! 🔥 We’ve tried the: Sesame chicken, veggie lo mein, Mongolian beef, Szechuan beef, and the Braised chicken (which is just deep fried chicken wings.) everything was amazing, Only minor complaints- Szechuan beef was on the sweeter side, and the sesame chicken breading gets soft after it sits (which is every Chinese place lol.) Recommendation: if you like spicy - ASK for your food spicy!! YUM, makes a huge difference! & it would probably compliment all the sweetness. So glad we finally ate here. We’ll be back!”
