“Mixed Experience: I recently visited Gaja Korean Bar drawn in by its inviting street vibe. While the atmosphere and service were commendable, my dining experience took a hit due to some issues with the food. The pork belly, though expertly fried, surprisingly lacked flavor, leaving me wanting more depth in taste. The Korean fried chicken, described as such, ended up resembling a buffalo chicken tender with ranch dressing rather than the anticipated Korean flair. This was an unexpected letdown. Additionally, the crispy dumplings failed to live up to their name – lacking the desired crunch. The food fell a little short. Was it good? Yes, but it wasn’t enough for me to ponder when I immediately will return. However, I am up to give it another whirl because the team seems legit. “I've been coming here for the last couple months and always receive delicious food and excellent service. The wait staff are attentive and helpful in suggesting food and drinks. I'm obsessed with the Salted Yuzu beer, but their cocktails are complex and yummy (try the Tokyo!). I'm working my way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed. It is an absolute joy to eat here, and I leave with a smile on my face every time.”

“We have been eating at Jen Chan's since they opened and have never had a bad meal. We love it so much I've had 3 birthday dinners and our wedding reception there. The staff has always been accommodating & helpful. We love how family friendly and cozy it is with 2 kids in tow. When they started to add a health insurance tax option I was so happy to pay the additional charge. As someone who worked in restaurants off and on most of my life I know how life changing an unexpected illness can be. I've never questioned it, never removed it (even though I know they would happily take it off if I asked) and I admire Emily & Jen for always going above and beyond to take care of their staff. During a global pandemic that nearly shuttered every small restaurant we loved- they pivoted and kept staff working as much as possible. To find a place with top notch food, ethical owners & a killer drink menu is a dream.”

“Best Thai I've had in Georgia. We moved to Georgia seven years ago and honestly have had a lot of sub par Asian food - West Coast just has better. This was delicious. The heaven samples plate was crispy, sauces provided were yummy. Best sample item was a tie between the cheese stick and the shrimp roll. For entrees we did cashew chicken, pineapple fried rice and pad Thai. We did ask for it a little spicy so I'm not sure what their default is (a lot of places we've been to offer what I'd call a country white person level of spice/flavor which is I guess what the South prefers but not for me). Excellent spice level, excellent portion size and presentation. Will stop whenever we come to Atlanta.”
