The food is always fresh and the service was also great! They have a deep menu and I’ve never had anything I didn’t like here. I got the coconut curry pho which actually tasted really good, however not super sure if it is anything close to pho more than the fact that it’s noodles in soup. My friend got some beer chicken dish and said it was alright. The food came out really quickly, would say it’s a pretty good spot to grab a quick bite.”

“I love the spacious and bright upscale ambiance. One of the few Chinese restaurants here in Streeterville, so I had to support! The food here is great. I ordered the beef chow fun, and it was pan fried to perfection! I think this dish is actually better than a lot of the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown! The portions were also very generous! I was so full by the time I finished. I think I could have split this up between 2 meals, but I didn’t have a way to take this back with me! The service was great. Overall, a really good experience!”

“Quite enjoyed lunch here! Malaysian food options in the city are very limited sadly, but this does a pretty great job of satisfying this space. The service was good, though we were the only ones around I think at the time we went. The space is fine, but I don’t think you come here for the ambiance, you come here for the food! Looking forward to coming back and trying more options! Highlights were the nasi lemak and roti paratha. Both the beef rendang and the ayam merah were delicious for the nasi lemak. The roti paratha is buttery and wonderful and the chicken curry it comes with was rich and flavorful—we really really liked that. I would probably go with the ayam merah or the chicken curry with my nasi lemak next time, both were delicious. The beef rendang is also a solid option for those who prefer beef. Be aware it is a little fatty. Cumin lamb skewers were good but pretty straightforward in flavor. Also a small serving. We enjoyed both the dessert options, but they weren’t exceptional. Pulut hitam is on the watery end of a rice pudding type of dish, but with a deeper rounder sweetness than a typical rice pudding. I had never had something like this before and glad I tried it. The coconut pudding had a lighter and sweet flavor, with a delicate consistency served inside a coconut. I’d recommend both, but if you’re in the mood for a more robust dessert option these may not fully satisfy.”

“Uniquely decorated ramen shop in the heart of Chicago. There are many hexagonal pods and private booths that will make things feel like you are dining alone. Servers typically won't approach your booth, you'll have to push the button but they respond very quickly. There are some nice specials for solo or duo diners. Menu overall is fairly simple with the kinds of things you'd expect in a Japanese restaurant. The ramen we got was flavorful and the spicy one I ordered was actually very spicy. My only complaint would be the beer I ordered, it was not a full pour and for $8 I'd expect a full glass. Definitely worth your visit if you're looking for Ramen and you're in River North”

“It was my first time in Cebu restaurant, I really was hoping to interact with someone who can speak Visayan since the restaurants name is derived from the Queen City of the South, Cebu, but I was disappointed, lol... I tried the kinilaw, which had a spin, they added an espuma (foam) to the dish, I find it clever but would have been better if the fish was already marinated in calamansi with some vinegar to absorp its flavor instead of tasting the "fishy" taste of the fish. Their Tocino pork belly was good and serving is good for 2 for just under $20! Their drink choices are awesome but only got to try the coffee with ube foam, taste ok. Their Halo halo is a must try, I love how they spread it out in a bowl and added ube flavoring to the shaved ice. Though the inside is clean, the front of the store would probably benefit from a make over since it was vandalized. I will still go back to this place soon if ever Im in Chicago...btw, parking offstreet is free!”

“So I most definitely gotta leave a review hey guys those of you who have followed my reviews always know that I love to let others know about my experience that I have had which might be different from yours but hey this is my review. so I stepped out on faith today as I visited this restaurant located in Midlothian the name of the restaurant is called Gum Wah I'm a pretty loyal Patron meaning that when I like something I'm going to keep going there so my to go to restaurant I forgot it's closed on Sundays so I was looking on Google nearby restaurants and this one kind of stood out to me I checked the menu I read almost like 90 reviews and I looked at their food online so I said hey why not the gentleman that I talked to over the phone just had a really good energy about him you know like I could tell that he really cares about delivering world class customer service so this next comment doesn't have anything to do with them there wasn't really like a lot of spaces to park so I had to park in this Auto shop parking lot I looked around to see if my vehicle was going to be towed I didn't see anything plus I wasn't going to be in the restaurant very long which was next door so the gentleman at the pickup window was the same gentleman that I talked to over the phone I told him I was here for a pickup and while I waited for my food I think I waited less than 5 minutes I was looking at the menu and I just really had a great conversation with the gentleman that took my payment that I wanted to extend my gratitude & appreciation so I left a tip and I had to get a smoothie I really like smoothies by the way I got a strawberry mixed with banana and I added tapioca to my smoothie so when my order was ready and I left the tip on the merchant reciept copy The gentleman gave me some Chinese almond cookies which you guys don't know are one of my favorite cookies and I really like the fortune cookies as well they always have a comforting message that I read when you crack them open I ordered a large chicken fried rice for my wife and son and I and I also got four vegetable egg rolls so I drink the whole entire smoothie before I got home and I wanted to wait and save the almond cookies. when I got home I ate all three almond cookies I left one so my wife can try it so she can see what all the fuss is about I have never had vegetable egg rolls so fresh also the chicken fried rice was so perfectly put together I might have found me a new Chinese restaurant also besides Chinese they specialize in Cantonese Mandarin and Szechuan cuisines so let me leave you with this if you guys are in the Midlothian community please visit this establishment they definitely deserve 10 Stars they are open Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday and they're closed on Monday.”

“This 25 year old hole in the wall really reminded us the street restaurants in Korea. The cafeteria chairs, square block tables when you have nowhere to put your feet, dark and K-Pop videos playing on TV. It doesn't get anymore authentic then this, and so are the food items. There are no BBQ here, you can get the BBQ kababs cooked for you over the grill though. They are just ok for me. The highlight is the rice cake (the big ones, made from rice, not powder), pork skin, the sweet and spicy chicken and the intestines that we had, the perfect balance of flavor for us, not overly spiced. Another thing is, you don't see the typical coat of oil and grease at the bottom of the plate, including the ones with cheese. We will surely return to check on the hot pots and others. It is definitely not a place for a date, but for a quick Korean street food fix, this is it.”

“So maybe this place was hyped up a bit too much and that's probably why I didn't think it was as amazing as everyone else did. The food was just good. That's it. It's maybe my fifth favorite Indian restaurant within the city and it won't even stand up next to the ones in the suburbs. That being said some of the dishes were pretty well done, like the Chaat, the goat Momo's, the Paneer Tandoori, the Gruyere Cheese Naan, and the Shahi Korma. I think the Pistachio Paan Kulfi wasn't even good though. That is not what actual Kulfi tastes like and adding paan to if did not make it better. And my friend said she's had better Kulfi from Costco. The ambiance was nice, the service was excellent, and the drinks were okay. I would probably give this place a 3.5, but I'm rounding up.”
