“We held a diwali event here for about 200 people for Brahmin society of New York. The place is very nice for holding any kind of we vent. The management was very nice and worked very well with us to plan our whole event. They were always available to answer questions and went above and beyond to get things done. The food was delicious. All our guests loved the food and the service. I recommend this place.”

“I always get a pad thai from every thai place I go to so that I have a standard dish to compare. The pad Thai here was the best I've ever had - I even ordered a second to take home with me so I could eat it again. It's less sweet than what you typically get elsewhere and you can really taste the tamarind. My friend got the curry special and she loved it. Taro rolls were crispy and had real strips of taro - it was a light dish but still enjoyable with their homemade sweet chili sauce. Decor was cute and the service was fine. I will be back for sure!”

“Very interesting momo fusion place! Tried the Mothuk, tandoori momo, sukuti momo. Mothuk was great for cold weather, with a lot of veggies to nourish the body. Tandoor momo and sukuti momo were crunchy and flavorful. Also recommend the mango lassi, very rich and creamy!”

“A typical no-frill, cash only asian establishment in Elmhurst. Just to be clear: this is TAIWANESE restaurant incase their name was clear enough. I’ve been coming to this joint since forever and oh god i miss the old times when i used to live close by and prices were lower. Their dishes have always been excellent and portions are generous. Again, cash-only!”

“This is my second time visiting San Soo Kap San. The first time we were a group of 7/8 people and since someone else treated me I didn’t know what exactly to e ordered but my money is on Combo C. This time it as just me and a friend and we ordered Fried Dumplings, Pork Belly bbq for one and egg fried rice with beef. The egg fried rice was my favorite. Since they only bbq pork belly on the table only when it more than one order, they bbqd the meat in kitchen. I personally like it less cooked and on the medium rare side. This one was Medium. Sides and sauces served with it were good. The Fried Dumplings were juicy and the skin crunchy. Overall a good experience and I am definitely going back for fried rice.”

“A bit disappointed at this place. It definitely seems like a mom and pop shop but the food and side dishes were lacking. It seemed very rushed too. We were the only ones dining. Weekday lunch - had bulgogi soondubu and pork rib soup. Both were bland. Side dishes seemed inconsistent with photos. Fish cake was chewy (most likely been in the fridge for a while). Wasn’t given an option for multigrain rice. I think there could be a lot of improvements made but not a bad spot if you’re in the area and really want a simple home cooked vibe Korean meal. Lots of parking available.”

“I absolutely loved their potato cheese spinach momos and would definitely go back there for those. The spicy fries are spicy and worth trying if you like spicy food. The fried. Rice was nice too. We also got the Hakka noodles which were okay. I have had better ones at other locations at Jackson heights. Since we are vegetarians we didn't try their non-vegetarian momos which made them the winners of the momo crawl!”

“Really authentic and great value! You can't really go wrong with any of their dishes, though their beef in golden pepper broth, four season beans and eggplant are especially good. The host is friendly, and wait staff are very helpful. We've been back and hope to continue to be back when we're next in town!”
