This was clearly not sushi grade salmon. I’ve gone to this place for years but may need to find a new spot if this is what’s happening now.”

“Super tasty lunch spot open on a Monday. Do not sleep on the noodles — so good! Did a veggie option, and they were able to accommodate and make it non-spicy. Vibey relaxed atmosphere and my partner enjoyed the coconut chicken as well.”

“Overall, I agree with most of the reviews that came before mine: it is a goldmine for where it’s located. A few notes: the table was sticky and my plate wasn’t perfectly clean, and there was one other sanitary issue. In addition, there were no toilet seat covers in the bathroom. Yikes. (And I am totally willing to edit this review if these items are addressed.) As far as the food goes, compared to restaurants of a similar price range, it fell a little short. They are simple dishes which feel a little overpriced. Not terribly complex, but fresh. We ordered the watermelon salad, oxtails and grits (needed to be served hot), grilled oysters and (underwhelming) savory donuts. Drinks were pleasant but we think the dish-ware could have been more advanced/fancy for the price. Customer service was good and friendly, though there was lack of personal connection (i.e. QR code). This is a missed opportunity to really make this place truly worth going back to.”

“One of the best Hunan restaurants I have been to. With so many restaurants in the area, we are so happy to have found this gem. Atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Food is fresh, authentic and generous. For the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. The owner was friendly, personal and professional. She constantly checked on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. Our meal consisted of five fishes and all met our expectations. My kids who are extremely picky gave this restaurant a 10 out of 10 when I asked them to rate on a scale if 1 being the worst to 10 bring the best. We ate so much and still had left overs. It was such a pleasant experience! Highly recommend this restaurant to all.”

“SF East Bay. Consistently good typical Vietnamese menu items found here. For this recent visit, we got the egg rolls which was somewhat of a mistake since the rice paper rolls are significantly better. Ordered our favorite bun bo hue which was delicious. We also got a matcha green Thai tea which we get whenever we eat here.”

“The beef chow fun (flat rice noodles) was decent and nothing special, and needed some extra soy sauce for flavor. The seafood pan fried noodles had too much sauce (that didn't have much flavor either) and was extremely soggy and not crispy at all. The restaurant's ambiance during lunch time was a bit dark, as if the owner was saving electricity by not turning on a few interior lights.”
