“Contacted Windscreen City via phone for a replacement windscreen. They requested photos of the car to establish what screen was required and got back to me that same day. I was expecting to take the car in for the screen to be fitted, but they attended my address the next morning and fitted it. Fitting was done in less than 30 mins. All in less the 24 hours of first contact. Outstanding, friendly and efficient service.”

“I purchased a new Jeep Gladiator from this dealership. Sales were great, i cannot speak highly enough of their efforts in that area. However, immediately after the first 12,000km service, things rapidly went downhill. The car engine began to experience pre-detonation at approximately 1700rpm under very light load (such as travelling along level road at 60km/hr with a touch of throttle). I immediately contacted dealership...their first claim was that i had used poor quality fuel in the car and that was the problem. Fortunately for me, i use this car for business and as such i keep very accurate fuel records for the car via Zohoo books (a program i used for accounting for my business). Each time i make a purchase, i record an image of the receipt and cost details for tax purposes...so i have a digital copy of every single receipt for every tank of fuel that has ever been put into the vehicle from new. As soon as i showed them this, they back down and decided to get Jeep Australia to send a technician across from Melbourne city to put a camera down inside each of the cylinders to photograph the internals. The report copy i have says results showed excessive carbon buildup on the pistons and it was determined that a cleaning agent be put into them to clean out the carbon. This worked for about 2 weeks and then the pre-detonation came back again. After 8 months of being given the run around (they kept saying they were waiting for parts)...and 30,000 km later, they finally pulled the heads of the engine and cleaned them manually as well as replacing another component in the engine. About the same time, the transmission failed...it was immediately replaced with a new one under warranty which was great. It is now about 3 weeks since i picked up the car... 1. Going back 3 weeks, I noticed the next day after the transmission replacement, there is a diff whining noise coming from underneath the front seats...it sounds like the new transmission is whining (but it could be the transfer case or front diff ...i am not sure) 2. forward to today, I noticed an oil leak under the car today and got underneath to find that the mechanics who worked on my car had almost certainly failed to correctly tighten up the oil pan drain plug (sump plug)...its either that or someone has intentionally losened off my oil pan sump plug whilst the car has been parked in the city during work hours (given i do not park in the same carpark and work at different sites, i find this highly unlikely. I was able to unscrew it with my fingers...I am gobsmacked as to how on earth a mechanic can forget to tighten something so simple as an engine sump plug after have had the engine. 3. The transfer case rear connecting shaft boot is leaking grease all over the underside of the car. It does not appear to be the rubber boot itself but rather than metal flanges that hold it to the output shaft on the transfer case. The mechanics would have removed this shaft in order to replace the transmission, so i do not understand how this component could have failed only a few weeks after it had been removed and reinstalled? 4. The exhaust is now making a rattling noise...clearly it has not been reinstalled correctly after the engine heads and transmission works were completed! I have to say, when it comes to mechanical works, this dealership has some of the most incompetent mechanics i think i have ever had the displeasure of entrusting my vehicle too. Add to that what appears to be a complete absence of any quality control checks, and the lies that come from the service department management team...I think i need to say no more. Do not entrust the maintenance of your Jeep to this dealership's service department they are incompetent and untrustworthy!”

“Customer Service from the bloke on the cashier can’t get worse, specially the one working on Sunday. No decency to speak right and be polite. The older team members are the one’s who should be at the cashier’s desk. They know what they are doing and willing to speak and help. Just working for the sake of it at Autobarn and being proud of the brand does not help. A simple question whether membership helps with the products I purchased, he simply said this doesn’t get you discounts and did not even bother to register my purchase irrespective of the discounts. That was simply rude.”
