“Customer service, when we finally received it, was shotty at best. The lady behind the counter is rude, but she is rude to everyone, whether you are an automotive or just a regular shopping Wal-Mart customer. Another employee came over and took care of us when he saw that she was unable yo handle the number of people that were there, which was 3 of us in total, by the way. He had a better attitude, but not by much, he was going to break when he saw he was needed, but he wasn't asked that I know of. He just came on his own. My hubby told him he wanted 4 tires, what they were, and that he wanted them mounted and balanced. The guy told my hubby that it would be longer than we wanted to wait. So hubby just told him to just ring up the tires and bring them out, and he would do it himself. It's not like he doesn't know how he just didn't want to. While he was doing that, one of the others backed out, there was an opening, and they told us it would take 45 minutes tops. We waited for an hour and a half for our truck to be done. We have had tire work done there before and have never had problems before like this. That lady's attitude really needs to be checked before someone checks it for her. I mean, it gets worse every time I see her, I probably see her 6 to 7 times a year. Other people had problems with their vehicles, too, but I wasn't listening. I just heard them getting angry with the lady. One time, a manager or supervisor had to be called in, I think. I kept going off trying to find something to do to make the time go faster. As far as the satisfaction of the tires? We will have to see. See ya in the funnies kids”

I was getting pretty close to needing new tires for my Jeep Wrangler two door, they were getting worn down enough to be a danger of hydroplaning on wet pavement so I ask my Son Brian where to go. I'm very glad I took his advice and went to Discount Tire on SE 14th in Des Moines. I found Mason and Brandon to be most helpful and knowledgeable. Discount Tire was very price competitive and for looks and performance recommended the BF Goodrich A/T KO2s. I still can't believe how quickly they had me back on the road, no more than 30 minutes at most. I'll give you one guess where I will be returning for my future tire needs. The Jeeps handling and ride are profoundly better, I personally like the looks of this tire as well. My experience here from beginning to end was superb, this is a very well run tire center, I give them my highest recommendation.”

Since then my immature, irresponsible landlord managed to lose his copy of the key, I'd only assume that he lost it when he lost ALL of the keys for the entire building!! The skilled folks here at Johns Lock and Key were able to rekey the cylinder and make 3 new keys. This was not cheap,but when it comes to top of the line security there's no compromise. We'll see how long he can hold onto this one this time.”

To be completely honest, the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid was not on our original list of vehicles but once we stumbled onto the Smart Hyundai website and found it, there was almost no turning back. “My experience was between two and three stars I went to go get my car aligned and when I got there they took my car they were very nice very respectful but they decided to do diagnostics on my car without getting my approval, so they said they could not do the alignment unless they replace pieces or parts of the vehicle so I said I will come back later when I could pay the full amount. To my surprise they gave me a bill, and I said what's this? he said we charge for Diagnostics I asked please next time before you do diagnostics make sure that the customer is prepared AND AWARE to pay for Diagnostics so technically it was a hidden fee they will RUN DIAGNOSTICS ON YOUR VEHICLE WITHOUT ASKING AND CHARGE FOR IT. I THINK THAT'S VERY POOR COMMUNICATION AND BAD PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES. Was very upset but since they already did the Diagnostics I did pay for them it, would be nice for them to tell me hey we can't do this and I would decide whether or not to get the Diagnostics.”
