“CarMax makes car buying easy. Especially with the 30-day return policy. This is a good amount to time to ensure the car is right. If an owner's manual is missing, they will reimburse you for a purchased one. The warranty offerings also give peace of mind that possible car repairs will not put you in a financial bind. The reason for only 3 stars is I noticed that my car's oil life indicator showed 20% remaining and the coolant was very low. (I added 3/4 gallon to the reservoir.) This created a concern that the car had not been properly inspected when CarMax first received it. I expect the oil to be changed and the fluids topped off. CarMax response was that the technician had just forgotten to reset the oil life indicator. They had no response for the low coolant. It is possible the oil life indicator was not reset by mistake, but they never bothered to check their records to ensure the car had been inspected or serviced.”
