“I've been to this location several times, and it's not bad. I ordered an Everything bagel with veggie cream cheese this morning that was a bit disappointing. The (stick) bagel appeared to have only sesame & poppy seeds on it, I didn't see or taste any onion/garlic/salt, and the thin smear of cream cheese was a bit disappointing too, especially since the cream cream cheese was much more than the bagel (as expected). I'll have to try it again another time. I also had a boxed lunch from here recently, which is pretty good. I tried the chicken salad sandwich for the first time. I didn't care for the flavor. There were large chunks of water chestnuts (I think) that overpowered the chicken. I removed several of them after a couple of bites because there were just too many. (I forgot to take photos.) Overall, Grounds is a good spot to get breakfast items or lunch.”

“First time here after a 10 mile run with my husband and Pastor friend. I ordered a Watermelon Wonder smoothie and a plain toastED bagel with cream cheese. Simple but very delicious. There was a large selection of bagels to choose from and another menu on top of that. The spread was generous, and the bagel was huge! The smoothie hit the spot and was delicious. We're definitely coming back. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend.”

“A small unassuming shop that has the best glazed donuts and breakfast sandwiches. We arrived mid-morning so pretty quiet but I expect the line can easily be out the door during rush hours. It threw me for a little bit of a loop that it’s CASH ONLY as I don’t generally carry much cash but it’s clearly stated on the wall by the register and they do have an ATM machine in the corner. It’s worth a trip, give it a try.”

“We love good bagels and there is no better chain than Einstein Bros. to get your fix of doughy goodness with a hole in the middle. Tasty, firm and always fresh. I can’t say I have a favourite as they were all equally yummy. If only we had Einstein Bros. in the U.K. Oh well I guess we’ll just have to get our bagel fix every time we visit. Highly recommended.”

The ingredients in the bagel were all low quality… cheap white bagel, American cheese, thin processed sausage patty, and potentially powdered eggs. The smoothie did not taste like real fruit and most definitely had some syrup or added sugar in it. Tasted like candy. Nice place for maybe a hot dog or something simple to sit outside but be sure to expect McDonald’s quality for the breakfast. It was also quite expensive for what I got… $24 for everything.”

“This is a cool tiny place. The menu showed a selection of food but I suppose their daily selection varies based on the day. That is understandable given the size of the place but was a little disappointing to us because we came there for lunch. As a coffee shop this place is perfect. Has a large selection of hot drinks and some pastries to go with them. It has some indoor seating. And outdoor tables with awesome ocean view. I had the quiche and it was very good.”

“VERY solid acai bowls here and they are a little expensive, but they are also gigantic. I got a regular bowl and feel like maybe I should have gotten the small since it came in a huge container and just I got everything inside it and felt stuffed. It was really nice to have a choice between all the toppings and bases and not have to just pick one. The standout was the acai base and the sesame base which was just unique. The place has a super cute interior with outlets and a good clean vibe. Also get the yelp check-in cacao toast! I thought that it was actually not the best in terms of sweetness but it was some good free value.”

“Came here for the first time to try the Swedish Semla. I called in and they recommended I would order ahead since they were "flying out the door" so I ordered online and got there 4h later and they had plenty left. The semla bun and almond paste was good, but unfortunately the whip cream was out of date, as it did not taste or smell right. The staff was nice but got our sandwich orders wrong. We ordered two regular and one panini toasted but we got three regular and none toasted. The soup was delicious, but the staff member could not tell us what kind of soup it was. I am still leaving 4 stars, because I really want to like this place.”

Got the cucumber bagel sandwhich on everything. Seating outdoor only. Good spot for people watching and watching the bakers at work.”
