I used the minimum syrups to make a mango lime and mint mojito and a strawberry mojito so far. Great option for larger gatherings as it’s too time consuming to make pulp or syrups from scratch in my opinion. I do add a complimenting juice with the syrup and top with lemonade. Then I finally top the mocktail off with a garnish.”

The menu has a good choice for many dietary requirements. The menu is very inventive, with some really great sounding dishes. We ordered the breakfasts which arrived quickly. Both looked very appetising when they arrived. They both tasted amazing - with some really tasty elements. Easily the best breakfast we've had.”

The posh afternoon tea is well worth the money! Being able to choose your own sandwich and change drink options is a big bonus! The tea house was clean and tidy despite it being busy, the staff didn’t stop. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in Lyndhurst. To bring out plate after plate at that level of standard and speed is something that is under appreciated. I admire the eggs florentine, the muffins are insanely good as is the balance of flavour and herbs to the eggs and sauce. This is now my regular sanctuary and I try to come atleast a couple times a month from 40 miles away to eat and relax here. That peanut and banana shake is unreal too!”

We even took one daily special back to London. The scone came with jam and butter. You need to order clotted cream separately. I like the crunchiness on the top and the buttery smell inside. The vanilla ice cream for affagato was delicious.”
