Pause Cafe
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 08:00 PM

3 Clinton St, New York, NY 10002, United States

“Visited this cafe and had a mixed experience. The coffee was excellent - strong and flavorful, but the shakshuka was disappointing even though it looks good ;( The overall vibe is wonderful, and despite the usual line, it moves quickly. The place is warm and inviting, although the tables are a bit too close together. I'd recommend it for a coffee, but perhaps not for breakfast.”

Brownstones Coffee Amityville
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 03:00 PM

55 Merrick Rd, Amityville, NY 11701, United States

“We went for lunch and ordered a bowl and a Grecian. We also ordered two coffee drinks. The food was delicious, but small portions. The atmosphere was a little loud for my taste. The service was impeccable however. We went again two weeks later. We had a panini and 2 orders of pancakes. Delicious again!!! The food and service is consistently awesome!”

Blueberry Hill Market Cafe
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$

515 US-20, New Lebanon, NY 12125, United States

“Delicious food! Crunchy French toast and Chocolate croissant bread pudding were truly special, lamb hash and lemon poppy seed muffin were also very good. Such a cute place, highly recommend.”

The Monkey Cup
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Open until 03:30 PM

1965 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd, New York, NY 10026, United States

“ok... I can't comment on the food yet, but as Arnold would say... "I'll be back." Real chill vibe, nice owner, seemingly happy staff (I don't know for sure, but dude seems genuinely happy to work here). It's a great coffee experience, and more of the eventual change that's been coming to Harlem. Complaining about gentrification is like complaints about the sunrise. You can embrace, enjoy the light, and find ways to grow, or you can long for the restful night to continue. Things they are a changing.”

Lella Alimentari

“Hottest staff I've ever seen. And really good food of course :)”

Bird & Branch
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 07:30 PM

359 W 45th St, New York, NY 10036, United States

“Sharing one review but I’ve been to Bird & Branch multiple time so these are some of the photos from my various visits here. This is one of my favorite coffee places in NYC - it has a Japanese-fusion inspired menu and the drinks are named after birds. I love the creativity this place has put into their menu. They also rotate the drinks seasonally so the menu stays fresh. Although I don’t have a picture of it I highly recommend the iced passionfruit black tea during the summer -it’s a refreshing drink and not too sweet. The snowy owl and the mockingbird are definitely worth a try during the colder months. Their food menu is also really on point. I love the miso hummus toast -it’s like a vegan caprese toast and it’s delicious. The egg sandwich and the matcha square are also personal favorites of mine. Highly recommend this place!”

Remi Flower & Coffee
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

906 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10017, United States

“Remi Flower and Coffee is an absolute gem! This place is a sanctuary for the senses. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sight of vibrant blooms greet you. There are plenty tables inside and outside. Their lattes are pure artistry, not only bursting with flavor. They do particular flavors like Rose or Lavender (see picture). And the October touch? They served our lattes in pumpkin cups we brought! A delightful experience that marries taste, ambiance, and personal touch flawlessly.”

Lincoln Station
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 09:00 PM

409 Lincoln Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11238, United States

“I went in there for the first time to grab breakfast and was excited to try them out since their Google reviews are great... but I was only disappointed in my breakfast. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with avocado (two: one for myself and one for my husband) and two hot chocolates: needless to say the bacon egg and cheese was a disappointment. The bacon was undercooked and all you get is literally one strip of bacon. I paid around $40 and it was NOT worth it at all. The hot chocolate was alright but definitely not worth the price... it was not hot but warm... I called the order over the phone so I don't know what the service is like but when I walked in I did not feel welcomed. As far as the ambiance... it seemed chill when I walked in but again not too sure because I picked up and left.”

Uncommon Grounds Coffee & Bagels
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 08:00 PM

9 Clifton Country Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065, United States

“It’s really a hit or miss. The workers are terrible at slicing bagels. Depends on who makes the latte. They base the service on how much you tip. I won’t be tipping anymore. I’d rather just complain and make them redo it if tipping doesn’t get you much better service than not tipping l. This American thing with tipping is tacky and makes these jobs desirable for AI replacement. Check the photo for the cheddar bagel(really) that’s all it is, a slice of cheese on a plain bagel! Not one raisin in the cinnamon raisin bagel. Really absolutely none. This place is getting really bad.”

Tend Coffee
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 04:00 PM

924 Montauk Hwy, Shirley, NY 11967, United States

“Not much seating but you can't beat these drinks. I got a creme brulee latte with oat milk and it was so good!!!! Wish I lived here so I could try more flavors and drink choices. The croissant was good too!!!”

Ground Central Coffee Company
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

155 East 52nd Street, 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10022, United States

“Cool coffee shop with plenty of seating. The coffee was good, but the staff was not very friendly. Not mean. Just not friendly. They sell some food and teas. I came here in my search to find a good coffee shop to work in … not for me. It would be great for others but not for me. Why? Music is very loud and the wifi sucks. There is a small room in the back with couches that is quieter but it was hot and your the loud guy if you need to make a call. Now, making calls was not the issue, it was the bad wifi. If you need a coffee shop without wifi that is loud, this place is great. It is quaint and comfy with the couches and the old school look. Space - large with lots of seating Staff - not so friendly Prices - moderate to high Work - they welcome people to work on laptops.”

Five Points Bakery
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 03:00 PM

44 Brayton St, Buffalo, NY 14213, United States

“This little bakery is so cute. There is parking if you go past a little- I didn't realize that at first. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. The croissants were pretty good, but were kind of crunchy/crumbled a little too easily for me. Wasn't a huge fan of the Raspberry frosting cookie- but I think it's gluten free or something and that's why. Overall- would definitely come back and try their breakfast menu because there was a whole bunch of different options.”

Harney & Sons
4.7
( 8 reviews ) $$

13 Main St, Millerton, NY 12546, United States

“Favorite tea and brunch place in New York! I visit this place whenever I’m visiting family and friends in Dutchess County New York. Their freshly baked scones are the best! They literally melt in your mouth. I bought the scone mix to make the scones at home. So delicious! I have a growing collection of their teas and have to remind myself to stop buying more! The photo only shows some teas from my collection, I have more hidden behind! 😂 Their prices are reasonable and their newsletters send 20% coupon codes during special occasions, so I usually wait to order when I get the coupon. Free shipping is a plus! I introduced this tea brand to all my family and friends. The owner’s son is very friendly and made us feel so welcomed when we dined in the side room that has a super nice rustic feel.”

Kam Hing Coffee Shop
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 07:30 PM

118 Baxter St, New York, NY 10013, United States

“Came here after seeing the signs of best sponge cake in town and decided to give a try. Walking in you have to go straight past the door and will see the shop (with another door). The sponge cakes are $1.00 for the original and $1.25 for flavoured sponge cakes (such as pandan, ube, coconut and more). The sponge cakes are freshly made and a good snack size. They also serve coffee, lemon tea and other drinks at a reasonable price. Highly recommend giving this place a quick try if you’re in the Chinatown area.”

The Crafted Kup

“Wonderful experience, customer service was amazing and the food was delicious. Definitely a great place to get work done when it isn’t too busy. If I lived in the area this would be my everyday coffee shop. Also the prices are amazing. My friends and all got drinks and breakfast sandwiches for around $50 including tip”

Morning Rose Cafe
4.5
( 10 reviews ) $$

317 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710, United States

“First off I wanna say that the wait here is pretty long on weekends. So be prepared to take a good portion out of your morning/day. The staff overall is friendly and joyful. When you are seated they give you complimentary mini muffins with jam. We ended up getting the Biscuits & Gravy, the Crispy Bites and an order of Fries. Let's start off with the Biscuits & Gravy: the dish comes with FOUR biscuits, sausage gravy, TWO sausage links, TWO eggs and a roasted tomatoe. The biscuits are so fluffy that make the perfect base for the gravy. The gravy lacks no flavor and has plenty of sausage bits. The eggs were perfectly well made and are some of the best eggs I've had. The sausage links pair well with the dish. And the additional roasted tomatoe is a nice touch which is well paired with everything on the plate. Now the Crispy Bites are little french toast bites that come with strawberries, blue berries, syrup and whip cream. For my personal palet they could've used a bit more of a cinnamon taste, the egg was more of what I could taste. Not overpowering just slightly above of what I would've liked. But still and enjoyable and unique dish. The fries were a huge portion and were crispy and fluffy. Now, yes, the prices are...well a bit pricey. BUT you get what you pay for. The portions are huge and the food is great. So for me, the price is justified.”

Cafe Patoro

“Such a cute bakery! Excellent Brazilian cheese bread and caramelized banana bread. The dulce de leche latte was also delicious. Highly recommend!”

C&b

178 E 7th St, New York, NY 10009, United States

“One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The shop sells an edited menu of breakfast sandwiches along w salads, loafs, pastries and coffee. We had the pork belly & egg on a roll, as well as the mushroom/egg on toast. So good, can’t believe I’d never noticed this spot. It’s take out w some outdoor seating. There is a big line but goes quickly and they bring out sandwiches when ready.”
