“A great place to grab breakfast by Kiyomizu-dera. It's walkable distance from the temple grounds and the little shops that line streets. You have choice of a few breakfast sets which come with a drink. I choose the cheese toast set which was delicious! Comes with a salad and mashed potatoes. Wait wasn't long and our waiter was courteous and prompt. You can also buy artisanal ground coffee here if you like.”

“We ordered egg sandwiches, cinnamon toast and iced au lait. Everything was delicious. The service was great. We enjoyed the view and atmosphere while we waited. Best egg sandwich I’ve tasted while visiting Japan. I had a delightful, peaceful time at this spot. Definitely my favorite breakfasts while here in Japan.”

“Amazing vegan/vegetarian place. To eat some sweets, to have some delicious tea from their selection, and they even serve lunch. They sell objects as well so you can have a look around and even take something with you. The ambiance is super relaxed and the place with store adjunct well designed, everything beautiful and timeless.”

“Coffee is too sweet and to milky, my fault may be I order mocha. Cakes quite good, better tha coffee. The place is large with many tables, but definitely not designed for people to hang out, but more for work.”

“For my first visit, I ordered matcha and chocolate terrine online. I was waiting for 2 months. However, the taste didn't disappoint and I ate it up. Perhaps because it uses white chocolate, the matcha terrine was sweeter, and the chocolate was less sweet and very delicious😋 Around the same time, I ate a high-quality chocolate terrine from another shop, but by far Agata's was the best. It was a taste that adults liked. For the second use, purchase at the store. The terrine is a product that cannot be pre-ordered, so it is first come, first served. I arrived on a weekday at 10am when it opened, and I seemed to be the first to arrive, but surprisingly there were no other customers. According to a friend who lives nearby, you can see long lines on weekends. Looks like you're aiming for weekdays! In addition, I had to wait about 15 minutes as they seemed to be preparing something after purchasing. While I was waiting, two customers came and they both bought hojicha tiramisu. I'd like to try that next time too. Actually, it's relatively close, so I should have gone to the store to buy it from the beginning 💦 The product is packaged in a luxurious box, making it perfect as a gift✨When I brought it to my family as a souvenir, it was a big hit and they ended up devouring it. My nephew was already ordering online. By the way, I realized later that there seems to be a limit of one terrine per person (two half-sized terrines). If you want more, you'll need to bring your family with you. Parking lots 17 and 18 of Wakita Shoten in front of Kyoto Chuo Shinko Bank, which is about 2 minutes away, are private parking lots.”
