“Perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee, meet a friend, or even to work from. Nice ambience, with friendly and attentive staff. Really enjoyed their breakfast ham and egg sandwich. The bread used is really good. Looks like they also use the same bread for their other artisan sandwiches. Would like to see a little variety in terms of bread selection, but that's not a huge deal at all. Sandwich was still yummy. Will be back again!”

“Cafe Mustache was has great karaoke! It was little busy for karaoke on a Saturday night—it was pretty packed and there was a long queue of songs—but it was an enjoyable experience. I recommend getting there early so you can be higher up in the queue. The space is cozy and good for conversation in the usual cafe section, but it is mostly standing room (not too many spots to sit) on the bar and karaoke side. The ambiance on the karaoke side is quite nice; I liked the lighting and the vintage televisions.”

“This cafe and sandwich shop was a nice discovery while out in Elburn today. I really like the bread they use for their sandwiches. It's a simple sub or baguette but it has a great chew that just made me devour the one that I ordered. I got the Yardbird which comes with a tasty herby chicken salad, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The sandwich was super tasty and they didn't skimp on the chicken salad. Also ordered an iced vanilla latte which was good. The service was great. They just do counter orders and the friendly barista had my drink out fast and the sandwich a very short time after. The place is cozy but didn't feel cramped and I wouldn't have minded sticking around to eat if I wasn't in a rush to get back home. I'm definitely keeping the Corner Grind in mind next time I'm hungry out west.”

The coffee is good and you can add chocolate on top or cinnamon to a cappuccino which I appreciated. My pumpkin maple scone was quite tasty. I’d definitely return for the coffee! ☕️”

“Fantastic place to stop in for a high-quality espresso. I visit the Peoria area roughly once every two years, and CxT has been my go-to spot for coffee while I'm in town for the past couple of visits. Their standard house espresso (as a doppio) is part of my morning routine every day, and I haven't found an espresso to match it elsewhere in Peoria. The baristas are fantastic and knowledgeable about their products, the store is kept clean and has a nice appearance, and I've felt nothing but welcomed whenever I've come in. From the brief couple of times I've tried other drinks (a cappuccino here and there, something akin to a maple cayenne latte a couple weeks ago, etc.) they've been excellent as well, but I don't know if I'd say they're completely different than what you'd find at any other high-quality café. Anyway, I'd highly recommend CxT Roasting Company to anyone, but especially for those espresso aficionados out there.”
