“Some of the best sicilian pastry in town. Had the best arancini with ragu. And the host that runs the Cafe is warm and welcoming, smiling and interacting with the customers. Felt like home and also wanted to try out the entire range of pastries. Prices are also very good. I would come back there each time I'd have the opportunity to be in Catania.”

“I have seen many tourist spots, but this was crazy. Guided tours were channeled through this place to have Cannolos and ice cream. And I found it not really convincing. The cone was not fresh but dry, the ricotta was ok. The service seemed to be annoyed. And for this experience you pay a relatively high price (3 EUR per Cannolo). Cannot recommend.”

“Beautiful evening, the only note on the food was better in past years, good quality, a few flaws on the starter which arrived cold.”
Via Bagnoli Croci, 32, 98039 Taormina ME, Italy
“Decent food, but nothing special stood out. The tartare lacked flavor, but the pastas were great and the lamb chops were awesome. Seems quite touristy, so beware.”

“ATTENTION ATTENTION....MASSIVE PORTIONS HERE! 😀 This place was an absolute food joy! Totally a wonderful surprise. We came here with some friends who had been told it was really good and everyone talked about the giant cannoli. We were not sure what to believe but my gosh...it was true. Check the photos! The restaurant is in a beautiful place surrounded by hills. Inside has some nice features but it tends to become a bit hot even in the evening and quite crowded and noisy. I'd suggest to get a table outside if possible. We started with the full starter plate and it was already a beautiful surprise. A massive plate with lots of delicatessen. Absolutely gorgeous. We were 6 adults and 4 children with ages from 8 to 3. We had 2 of these starter plates and we struggle to finish them. Then we picked up different things. I personally tried the busiada baida and it was delicious. But I could have easily shared it with someone else because it was another huge plate. Some other had fish, some other had meat...everyone was really satisfied. And then...well we were all full but we wanted to check this legendary giant cannolo, so we ordered just 1. Super wise choice. It really was a giant. Even though 5 people eat it, we struggle to finish it. Anyway, this is one of those rare places that other than quality you get (a lot) of quantity! So, enjoy, but be careful with your orders! Don't be tempted to exaggerate! I was forgetting. One of us was celiac but she managed to perfectly enjoy some plates opportunity prepared just for her!”

“Everything was fantastic, from the food to the service, we’ll kind of. The only issue was that they charged for the after dinner drinks of limoncello and 2 other types of digestives that we had, which normally restaurants offer for free as a part of the service. Each shot was €5! I was surprised by this and disappointed because it makes this restaurant seem like a tourist trap. I don’t know if in Sicily it is normal to charge for such drinks because this is our first time to take such drinks in a Sicilian restaurant but where we live in Italy, normally those after dinner drinks are offered for free.”

“Awesome pizza by a great group of brothers. I only ordered take out, but I wish I was there to experience the whole menu. As for the pizza, it’s perfection. Perfect leopard spots, soft crust with a nice bite and topped with fresh ingredients. The pizza fritta is probably one the best things I’ve ever eaten - crispy outside with hint of sweetness like a donut, followed with a soft and savory inside.”

“Good sea food. We liked the salmon pitz. Tuna tartare panini wasn’t bad. Beers were 6euro.”

“We spent a month in Sicily and this was one of the first places we went to. It was recommended by our B&B. What a fabulous restaurant, the outside was lovely to sit and the service was excellent. The pistachio pasta was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten and my husband can't stop taking about it.”

“One of our favorite restaurants in all of Sicily. Great terrace right on the water but even the inside of the restaurant is really cool. Octopus and calamari apps were amazing. All our entree’s were great too. The staff is amazing.”

“Very nice facility and excellent food. The Etna Rosso was fantastic. It's a pity the tour was so poor, we were lumped in with a massive tour bus for our guided tour. The girl leading our tour did not speak English very well and was leading a group of 40-50 English speaking tourists. When it came time to eat and taste wine nothing was explained to us. The same guide was extremely rude when we asked questions about the food, she was either having a very bad day or is in the wrong industry.”
