“Quite possibly the Korean place in Amsterdam that’s good value for its price. Service is usually fast and efficient. They’ve recently revamped the shop so there’s more space for sitting and eating and more space to wait. The ready-to-go menu is mostly limited to kimbaps now but everything else can still be ordered to go and you can’t go wrong with anything here. They also carry a selection of Korean snacks and drinks on the shelves. Docked a star because the ventilation here is still horrible which means you’ll always leave smelling like Korean food.”

“Great bakery cafe on the border of Westerpark. Sit-down eating with table service in a large naturally lit room with lots of plants. Food and drinks were great - they have home made bread, pies, soups, sandwiches. We ordered a coffee and a tea, a quiche, a pumpkin soup, an apple pie, and a Dutch pancake. Several vegan and vegetarian options. Food was very tasty. They also have a take away cafe right next door.”

“A cute cake shop and cafe around the corner. Their red velvet cake is a specialty in the shop. The bitterness is a nice balance with the sweetness. They didn’t have the red velvet cheesecake when we went there so we ordered the strawberry cheesecake. It was very nice! Strawberry jam is always a nice addition to cheesecake. The pecan tart is a bit too sweet and nutty for me though.”

The staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to give you a memorable experience - at the very beginning, we had the lovely May explain to us the dynamic of the restaurant and it’s dishes. It’s an Asian inspired sharing food concept. We loved it! We’re familiar with this since we lived in Asia so we couldn’t wait any longer. We order the ceviche, the avocado salmon sushi , loaded kimchi fries, Korean honey glazed chicken and the ox tail won ton. We ate everything with so much enthusiasm, and so so quickly ! I wished we could’ve eaten a bit slower! For what it’s worth, we ate the other dishes at a decent pace to enjoy them. But that is how good the food is in here. The service is quick, we were impressed because since the moment we arrived until we finished eating there were inly 40 minutes in between. I want to thank Soe for coming over to our table and refilling our glasses of wine, and for contstantly asking if were doing fine. We wanted more food so we ordered more food and he brought it right away. I’m telling you, we will come back for sure!”

“I was told the food there is amazing so I went and was disappointed. The burger was dry, my friend had the Caesar salad and after that she had stomach problems. The spare ribs were almost cold and really greasy not in a good spare ribs way... The service was the poorest I ever received in the Netherlands. We went on a week day in the afternoon so it was not busy. But all the three waitress ignored us almost all the time, even when we asked for the bill. We sat there waiting for half an hour to pay and nobody came after we called them few times. In the end I just went and paid it at the bar. If we had to pay at the bar, nobody told us... It was difficult to order too, we had to wave at them four time and the place was empty so they were busy sitting on a table on their phones. Once they brought our drinks and food none of them ever came again to ask if we want something else. I did wanted to order something else but nobody ever came again, I tried again to wave with a smile at the waitresses but no success. I went twice there and both time was the same and I won't be going for the third time for sure.”
