Honey Badger Dessert Cafe
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

7 Salamanca Square, Battery Point TAS 7004, Australia

“Super tasty desserts with great texture, rich in flavours, nicely prepared and served. For me a bit too sweet (especially matcha) but black rice was perfect. I regret that I couldn’t try different ones too! Highly recommended!”

70 Elizabeth St, Launceston TAS 7250, Australia

“Amazing toasties and scrambled eggs. It’s been 12 months since our last visit and yep, we will be back again. The coffee was 👏 too, and the fruit kings pie was a perfect balance of fruit and short crust. See you Tuesday for breakfast! …”

The Richmond Bakery
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 06:00 AM

6/50 Bridge St, Richmond TAS 7025, Australia

“Great local bakery in Richmond. We visited straight from the airport as Richmond is only a short drive away. We tried the curry scallop pie, sausage roll, steak & mushroom and chicken & camambert. All were delicious - the pastry was fresh and crispy, the fillings were chunky and flavourful. Give this place a go when you're in the area!”

Hellyers Road Distillery
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

153 Old Surrey Rd, Havenview TAS 7320, Australia

“We booked for lunch at Hellyers Road after the distillery tour and neither experience disappointed. The tour is an interesting and informative behind the scenes look at the operation of a distillery and the process for making a good whiskey. If you're a whiskey lover, it's worth paying for the taste of their 19 year old. And is you're REALLY a whiskey lover, you'll invest in the opportunity to bottle your own (complete with wax sealed lid and numbered bottles). The tour takes about an hour so plan your dining accordingly. We started with the soup of the day - tomato - which was declared a winner... until the mains. The whiskey cured trout was raved about and probably topped the excellent fillet steak and the delicious pie. All serves were generous and tasty (did I mention the whiskey cured trout?). Service was friendly and polite, if a little slow (but we weren't in a rush). Would definitely return for a meal when next in the area.”

Bush Bakery
4.8
( 8 reviews )

682 Leslie Rd, Leslie Vale TAS 7054, Australia

“A worthwhile diversion on my drive from Hobart through the Huon Valley. This is a family run business located next to the owners' home - quite unique! Outdoor seating is available. Pastry was rich and crispy, and the selection of pies, cakes and other pastries was great. Prices were reasonable and while cash is preferred, there are EFT payment facilities available. I really enjoyed my curried scallop pie - prices were reasonable and not Salamanca Market prices. I also really enjoyed chatting with the owners who are very insightful and doing their best to support the community and bring our once-wonderful country back to its former glory. Thanks and all the best.”

Komatsu Japanese Cuisine

196 Davey St, South Hobart TAS 7004, Australia

“Proper authentic Japanese ramen! The charsui is grilled, used proper pork belly, the pork broth is thick. Basically taste like happiness. Homemade black garlic oil goes so well with the ramen. One of the best ramen I ever had!”

“Pretty cool Brewery to visit. Clean, bright and spacious. Friendly and cheerful people. Flavourful beers and stouts. The pizza is doughy, chewy and good topping ratio. The paddle is generous. Had a schooner of the coffee IPA, getting hit with both caffeine and alcohol is a wonderful mix 😂 Will be back to try the rest of the beer selections.”
