Ended up trying out their berry pie (the crumbles option had sadly ran out) with a side of Taharka roasted strawberry ice cream. The slice is a generous portion and you have the option of getting whipped cream too. The pie was good and for the price I thought it was reasonable.”

“Naval Bagels is my favorite bagel shop in Maryland. They make an incredible everything bagel. I’ve been here more times than I could ever count, and I’ve enjoyed every experience. I genuinely rave about this place to people, because it’s that good. My order is an everything bagel, double toasted, with garlic and parsley cream cheese. Hear me out, I know it sounds interesting, but it’s great. They also have good coffee. It can get busy, but they are very fast and have a good system going. While I wait I always like to see what they write on the white board each day. It’s a comfort place, everytime I leave I am already looking forward to my next visit.”

“My partner and I had a great time here. The service was excellent, the food was great, and the outdoor seating is dog friendly. We haven’t had time to go on dates, so we did a lot of research and glad we chose to eat here. We happened to arrive during happy hour, and got the Duck Fat Fries and Salmon Sliders which were amazing and well seasoned, with the salmon being allowed to shine. We ordered the roast duck breast as an entree to share which was packed with flavor, especially the deeply roasted bits. We closed out with the beignets where were not too sweet and perfectly cooked. We got all the sauces with it, the chocolate and caramel which are made in-house and it was perfect balance of sweet and bitter. We plan on coming back often.”

“I just visited this location with my boyfriend. Atmosphere: The restaurant was nice. It was decorated nicely and everything was clean (dishes, table, etc). Customer Service: We had Tiffany as our server and she was very nice! I have a good food allergy and she made sure my meal was correct. Food: The food was good. I wish the portions were a bit bigger, the quinoa was seasoned and there were hash browns. But other than those things, I was satisfied! Overall, it was a good experience and would recommend this place!”

Unlike many eateries that mix Japanese elements with other culinary traditions, this cafe exuded an authentically Japanese aura. From the attentive service to the curated menu, it was markedly more Japanese than many venues we've frequented outside of Japan. The dishes, rich in traditional Japanese nuances, were imaginatively prepared, flavorful, and visually captivating, culminating in a delightful dessert. We eagerly anticipate our return to explore more of their offerings and hope to see an expanded vegetarian selection.”

“I just came home from here. It's New Years Eve. They had a 5 course menu planned for the night. My goal was to try everything. So I ordered for 2. I'm not a drinker of alcoholic beverages, so I got the bottle cola and Sprite instead. I got the tomato bread and salad first. Both were delicious! Next up I got a shrimp and crab meat salad and fried potatoes. Potatoes were a bit spicy, but the taste of both plates were great! Then came the shrimp bowl and calamari. I had to ask for lemon to put over the calamari because it was a bit bland, but after I got lemon slices, both plates were flavorful and delicious. The main course meals after eating a bunch of delicious food, were a bit disappointing. I got the lamb which was severely underdone. They took it back, but instead of a fresh plate my current pieces were simply pan seared again which made the outside hard, but the inside still undercooked. The other main course I ordered were the meatballs. Definitely great in taste, but very "different" in texture. These meals could've been better hence the 4 stars for food. For dessert I got the flan and fruit salad and both tasted fabulous. The service was amazing in spite of the main course issues. I tip very well for good service and that is exactly what our waitress received. I'll definitely be back!”
