“Lunch time on Sunday and got immediately seated to the cafe. The shopping area is busy and it gets pretty loud. Visited once right before corona started (2 years ago). That time we had to wait a while in the cold to get seated. Pay as you order system and CASH ONLY. Go to the counter to order and pay for your drink or meal. Surprised they still don't have electronic payment. They do have an app but looks like it's only for points. Like last time I ordered a seasonal hot chocolate drink. This year it's Maple nuts chocolate. I was told the hot version is more bitter compared to the iced, it was still too sweet for my taste. I remember the Christmas '19 drink as thicker and better though. Drinks come with 2 service cookies. English menu 🆗 Cash only ✅”

“Higher end spot for dating types. Food is solid and portion is big, to go with the price. Service is good. Atmosphere is relaxed, higher end. Apparently pudding is worth a trip. I had a coffee and cake for 1300 yen, and then had lunch w a buddy for 4600 yen (we split a dish, bread and another coffee). The view of Marina/sea is nice. Had a an obstructed view of Mt. Fuji.”

“Staff were kind to swap breads for queuing customers with Freshly baked bread! Had a Maple Roll - which was hot and wrapped in paper and got moist, but didn’t detract from the great soft bread. “I fell in love with Japanese curry on my first trip to Japan and this was one of the later curry dishes I had in Kamakura. Curry cafe where you get really good curry and good coffee and deserts. There was an English menu I forgot to take a picture of it I noticed it’s not updated on google sorry. This place has very modern and inviting atmosphere. The curry was had a range of spice level you can choose from I went with hot, it was the right amount of heat for me not overwhelming but still hot. Served with a pouched egg on top and a whole bunch of negi. This curry dish hit the spot I didn’t leave a single crumb. They ran a deal as well if you got a desert and drink so I got coffee jelly and a homemade ginger ale. Both were amazing they gave me candied pecans as well 😍. Very easy to get to as well, the curry cafe is right off the main traditional shopping street (komachi dori). The staff were very kind and welcoming.”

“This is a small shop near Guan Di Temple. One of their signature dishes, ``Ishiyaki XO Sauce Yakisoba,'' is a dish that is like a version of charred Yakisoba, and is served piping hot with gomoku bean paste at the table. The noodles are baked more thoroughly on the stone than regular ankake yakisoba, but you need to be careful as they will burn if you don't mix them. The seasoning of the bean paste is a little light, but I think it goes well with the stone-grilled noodles.”

“Not bad. Reasonable beers, the usual Brutalist architecture that predominates in such places, replete with school style chairs. Clearly a popular place, I had to wait for 15 minutes before getting a table. I ate hamburger for ¥1900, which came with salad (although with mini hashbrowns buried within!). I added a little to swap my soft drink for a beer. It also came with a pudding (but I don't have a sweet tooth, so gave it away). Tried a couple of the IPAs - tasted similar to YonYona. The waitresses all look like high school students. It was lunch time, so I didn't partake of the nomihodai, but it looks like a good deal.”

It tasted as good or even better than the best pizza I've had anywhere. Perfect thinness, perfect amount of topping, excellent quality on the toppings, and the dough, my good, cook to perfection, light and fluffy.. the clay oven just makes it all taste sooo good!!”
