“This is a busy place, no matter the time of day, so I would highly recommend booking. The staff are so friendly and inviting and truly make this place a great place to visit, it is a family run business and they make you feel like you are part of their family too. They cater for all, in the picture is a vegan breakfast and they have and you won’t leave feeling hungry is all I can say! They have novelty pancakes for the kids which they love and have different sizes in most meals I believe which is awesome and all sizes will not break the budget! Well worth a visit.”

“This was after searching for a dog friendly cafe with a view and we certainly were not disappointed the view is quite special, the food is excellent with ample varieties of home made cakes and pastries to choose from, the coffee is perfect and cold drinks are absolutely yummy, the atmosphere is incredible with great service and a log fire to keep you warm,I especially loved the Mushroom, caramelised onion, brie & garlic, sage butter toastie. “I have not had such proper Italian food in Australia before ever. I went with a vegetarian fellow and yet I was not disappointed with the food at all. It was amazing and truely satisfying. Definitely worth the money. The alcohol selection was decent but as a whiskey lover I was disappointed when there was no whiskey in the menu. I also was not overly happy with the fact that we had to sit outside despite making a booking, mostly because it was really cold outside and the heaters installed were not very helpful during such strong winds. I also believe they were understaffed as we had to make frequent trips inside the restaurant to get the waiting staff to serve us. I understand they usually are very busy but we had to wait a lot and the cold environment didn't make it easy. However the food, MAMA MIA!!!!! I will definitely go again and again just for the food even if they make me sit outside in cold and that how good the food was.”

My brother also really enjoyed his Ferrero Rocher Cannoli, and for dinner our family shared a delicious pizza, which was amazing value for what we paid! The service was also lovely. “So dropping in today on our way to victor for a late lunch. It was very busy, hard to get a park close to the building. Lovely and warm inside as you enter. Friendly staff ready to take your orders before you get a chance to even look at the menu. Ordered hot chocolates, fish and chips and chicken snitty and chips. First the hot chocolates were delicious with a real marshmallow. Chips on both plates were generous and very soft inside and a very light crunchy texture on the edges, just how i love it. A lovely garden salad with lots of cucumber but not enough lettuce for me but i love my lettuce and a tasty dressing over it. Now the chicken snitty was lovely and moist inside and a beautiful golden crunchy tasty outside, i was in heaven with my yummy gravy. Sadly the fish was a 50/50. It was cooked lovely inside but the batter was soft and chewy, maybe it was cooked too early and left in a baine marie but who knows. I would definitely be going back but not ordering the fish again. Ow and so glad I ordered extra gravy as i still ran out. Clearly a hit with all the older locals as it was flat out inside, so we chose to sit outside where it was quite.”

“This place is a coffee lovers delight ! Absolutely love the decor , it’s so fresh and funky . When you walk in, it’s a little like wonderland in that you don’t know where to look first . There is also an amazing amount of coffee paraphernalia- everything from machines to milk jugs , bean grinders and coffee filters ( and even a few bags of their own roasted coffee) There are a few options available at the counter , and this day I chose the Sofia , which was described as ‘a dark cocoa with a hint of caramel ‘ it was dark roasted and very pleasant with a lovely crema . I also had the gluten free Berenberg chocolate and ginger tart , which had a very interesting filling , almost like a light sponge with changed texture as it was eaten . This was topped with what I’ll describe as a ginger orange marmalade. It went well with the coffee. The staff here were very welcoming and friendly - my friend and I were engaged in several conversations - and they answered any questions that we had . Apparently the shop goes through 18/19kg of beans a day , and for the shop they roast the beans darker , but do a medium roast for the wholesale side of things . They were roasting a batch while we were there ; it was quite fascinating to watch and the smell was very enticing . We saw a few families siting here as well , as it’s quite child friendly and has a little play area set up for kids . As we were leaving a also saw a coffee gin flight with my name on it , so will need to make a return trip . It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and one for coffee lovers !”

Good choice of oysters both grilled and raw, however the grazing plate was a bit of a bummer. For $70 the contents were a little too simple and not that great. On a good side, wines and cocktails were really nice!”
