“Stopped here for a coffee. The gentleman that served us was prompt and friendly. It started raining while we waited for our café Américains to arrive so our waiter opened the umbrella over our table and all of the others outside the bar. The coffees arrived quite quickly - others were being made when we placed our order - and mine had a small chocolate biscuit with it and my husband's had a ginger orange biscuit. The coffee was not boiling hot, but at the right temperature to drink straight away. The waiter was definitely friendly and attentive even though my French is very poor. It's a very popular place with the locals for an early morning coffee so it must be good. The clothing section of the the market was setting up which provided interest while we drank out coffee on a drizzly Monday morning”
