The shrimp tempura had an excessively thick coating, and the sauce, reminiscent of fast food, made it overly oily. The halibut was both dry and tough likely due to overcooking with a noticeable fishy taste. The duck breast, much like the steamed fish, showcased a culinary misstep by employing a steak-grilling technique, making it challenging to swallow. Regarding the grilled steak, it was of average quality, meeting the typical standard found in most restaurants. The highlight of the fixed New Year's menu was the chocolate dessert – exquisitely refined and utterly delightful. $150 per person before tax and service fee, yet with a comparable expense at other restaurants, we've enjoyed significantly better culinary experiences.”

The pesto dressing on the salad was amazing. Simple but delicious. Of the two breads the baguette was my favorite. It had a crisp crust and fluffy airy interior. My cold brew coffee had a deep, robust flavor that I really enjoyed. I asked for almond milk for the coffee and was pleasantly surprised that it came in a separate little container so I could pour to my liking. Most places don't do this without asking so I really appreciated it. Overall did not feel like a chain restaurant. If you have a location near you check it out. This is the only one in Miami though.”

I decided to try DB at the last moment so we bought what they had available that day, we took the guava cake, it was delicious! The cake was moist and the sugar level was just perfect. But you might as well journey to Ceviche by Divino and get the $23 dollar ceviche that includes calamari and those large corn kernels. Way more authentic. And larger portion I might add. Then comes the crime, the ribeye. First of all, it was 75 dollars for 12 ounces. Um what? It came with potatoes and broccoli rabe. Dry, no sauce potatoes and mundane broccoli rabe literally just sautéed with nothing. NOTHING. For $75, give me something a little less boring. That’s like the most generic combo in America and you’re charging $75 dollars. The ribeye at our hotel had a ribeye dinner for $30 that had chimmichurri and sides that actually had some elbow grease put into it. You talking bout $75 dollars for something a random mama could make in her sleep. Are you joking me? Let me repeat so you know the gravity of the upcharge. $75 dollars for rib-nothing special-eye. NOTHING SPECIAL. And for a $75 dollar ribeye order, the waiter didn’t even ask how we’d like the steak done. He took the order and left. We had to call him back and tell him to tell the damn chef to have it be medium. Holy Toledo. No, I must let the people know. You can SKIP this spot. Please skip this if you want value. This is pound for pound highway robbery. Unless you’re a sucker for ambience. In which case, sure, spend that money like that.”
