It was nice and fresh but I found some of it was very salty and oily- and I love salt so that’s saying something. But I otherwise really enjoyed my time here.”

“We had a quick getaway to Queensland over the weekend and made sure to visit @communeespresso as we had been wanting to for a while now. A cute little cafe, slightly rustic with outdoor seating available. Food is nice and healthy and they do good coffee too. We had their avocado 🥑 on toast and a scrambled eggs with spinach. We had an enjoyable cafe visit”

“Why can't I pick 10 stars?? This restaurant is amazing and without doubt the best on the Coast. We've enjoyed Palette and most of the other fine dining restaurants on the Coast but Ladybird beats them all with flavor, quality, service and atmosphere. Located outside the former Versace hotel near Marina Mirage, across the road from the Sheraton Hotel, this is my number one recommendation for superb delicious well presented food, and the prices are just right for this quality and the premium waterfront location. Bottles of wine are reasonably priced and excellent quality. Everything is wonderful but the duck spring rolls are out of this world with superb flavor, texture and freshness. I'm not normally a fan of spring rolls but these are worth every cent, and I doubt I'll ever experience anything better. But I love everything here and truly believe their shared salmon dish is the ultimate salmon meal. OMG, the flavours are superb. This could very well be the best restaurant in Australia. 10 golden stars!!”

“Wandering around broadbeach after dinner looking for a nice place for dessert and found this place Bright pink neons drew us in and the pictures of the food made us stay. Very large servings definetly shareable we got 3 different things and shared it between 5 but would of been happy with 2. The apple pie pancakes were amazing”

“I was instantly transported to Bali when I entered this beautifully furnished cafe. We walked down from Broadbeach to give it a try and were not disappointed! The staff are super lovely and the menu has a perfect mix of sweet and savory dishes. While I was eating I turned to my husband and said; "I feel like I'm eating health". It was phenomenal. A must try when visiting (or living in!) the Gold Coast :)”

“They had the best battered fish and chips! The portion was generous that it was enough to share between my partner and I after a swim at the beach just walking distance away. It was a lunch special with any choice of drink. We ordered the Refresher which was definitely refreshing! Would highly recommend this place!”
