“Friendly greeting when I sat down in this cozy restaurant. First time at this place and I ordered the Central Plate, 2 eggs, breakfast potatoes, 2 bacon strips or 2 sausage patties and 2 slices of toast. My order came out quickly and the food was hot. I ordered my eggs scrambled and I liked how they cooked them (see the picture), similar to an omelet. Not burnt or overcooked but very fluffy. The bacon has a smoked smell and taste. Forgive me for smelling the bacon but it smelled delicious. They cooked the potatoes perfectly, browned and not burnt. Rarely do I find this but they had blackberry jam, which I strongly prefer, as an option. Big serving of delicious food for a reasonable price. There’s plenty of street parking in front of the restaurant. I felt a little overlooked when the bartender helped with rolling silverware. Definitely will come back!”

“Great dining experience! We haven’t been to Sugos for a bit and we loved walking in to the expanded space. The food is still as delicious as ever. The bread appetizer is soft and yummy and the main course was awesome. We were basic with spaghetti and meatballs but you can’t go wrong with a classic. We also had a chicken pizza. I wished for a little more sauce but the flavor was good. All in all, we will be back, especially to take advantage of the cute outside dining available!”

“Absolutely love this nice little place! My mother and I visited for the first time and thought why we hadn't been here more often. Walking inside, it is like a cozy but elegant Tuscany feel with darker wood tones and brick tile floor. The menu is upper scale soup, salad, and sandwiches mainly. They also have breakfast options. We ordered the BLTs. I had the full sandwich with peppered bacon and house chips. My mother had the choose two with a Caesar salad and half sandwich. The server was kind and friendly. It was just a really nice place I'd love to visit again. Great little bar as well. It would be a good place for a small work lunch or after work social hour. Love it, thank you!”

The tomato/Basil Soup, Burrata arugula salad were a perfect start to the meal. Cocktails specific for the occasion. Seating was the most comfortable for a true dining experience and several waiter chosen wine selections later - could not be happier with this choice. Prices were right on par for the meal - nothing was over my expectations. Open, easy, accommodating for Gluten free with pizza and bread. I mark this as a WIN.”

“Came here on a Saturday for lunch, the place was quite crowded, very popular it seems. They had the ordering system down though and we got through the line pretty quickly. Seating is limited, but they have some spots outside as well. Food was all very very good! We got the companion Lotto duos (half sandwich, half salad/soup). I highly recommend trying the Fowl Weather sandwich - the pepper jelly is so tasty! The roasted peach salad and the green chili potato chowder were also excellently flavored and spiced. Think of this place as a local, better quality St Louis Bread Co 😋”
