Parking isn't easy, but not terrible. There are lots of great choices on custom and many flavors of top-notch chocolates and drinks, making this a must for chocolate lovers. They also have some great macaroons and merchandise.”

“Wanted to like this place, bc it was recommended by family. Order process for pickups is straight up stupid. I call in at 9:03, arrive at 9:35 and pay. It is at this point that they finally take the order to make the sandwiches. Didn't get sandwiches til 9:56, almost 1 hour from when I first called in. Totally defeats the purpose of calling in ahead of time. They need to learn to improve this process. Go online ordering like the rest of real banh mi businesses. Owners may be too cheap to try to go to such a system, but if you're reading this--it's worth it! The sandwiches are decent though. Bread is good. Got the BBQ pork and special banh mi. Shockingly, the special banh mi doesn't have mayo. It would have been great with. I don't understand this decision, as I've never had special banh mi with no mayo. Just felt like something was missing. BBQ pork is pretty good though.”

They serve their whole menu all day, including breakfast. Portions were very generous. I want to come back here for breakfast, and get some donuts and coffee. Vegan and gluten-free options readily available! They have restrooms inside. Parking on J St is paid Mon-Sat, but you can usually find free street parking on 25th.”

“Absolutely amazing from top to bottom! I ordered a custom cake for my wife’s birthday and was blown away. Ordering the cake was easy, gave them a call, gave a general description of what I was looking and paid over the phone. The price was extremely reasonable especially compared to other quotes I got from different bakeries. I paid a little under $100 for a fully custom and that cake was big enough to feed 10 and have about half the cake leftover. I picked up the cake on the day and was blown away at how awesome it looked! It was perfect. Even better than I could have imagined especially with my admittedly sub par description of what I was looking for! My wife loved the cakes look and the taste was amazing!! I will absolutely be getting more cakes from here in the future and will recommend them to everyone I can!”

“Recently stopped in as my family and I were in the area. I ordered an iced americano and a bear claw. I love my coffee fresh and bold and my cup did not disappoint. The claw was fresh and tasted amazing. As for the atmosphere, the place gave me that Midwest homey vibe and spacious, which we found to be really comfortable. I didn’t realize that they sold breakfast until it was pointed out to me as we were leaving. I’ll have to stop by to try that in the future.”
