“One of the best burger spot in the area. Their homemade burgers are so flavorful and juicy. I love the many option of burgers they have. Our favorites are the lechon burger and Hawaiian burger with spam. The fries are always cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this spot for quick lunch or snack while you bowl. They also serve bubble tea. Service is fantastic. The brothers are always so friendly and helpful with the menu. Service is quick as well. There’s a few table to enjoy the meal but I noticed that a lot of their customers bring the food back to the bowling alley. It’s nice in their area and it gets a little loud only from the bowling alley side. Highly recommended.”

“So cute!! I love the vibes in here. It is so hard to find a place with retro vibes like this. I love how intimate the space is. The food was excellent, the coffee was amazing, such a good find!! I can't wait to come back to try all the pies. And the sodas! I got the matcha almond tea cake, butterscotch pie, the smoked salmon bialy sandwich, and a lavender latte 💙 My friend got the poblano breakfast sandwich with bacon, chocolate shake, and guava cheesecake. They were also very happy with their choices!”

It smelled just like real bacon and tasted like it too. Vegan donut was scrumptious and organic apple juice was refreshing too. I was disappointed with the uptown dog…it was super salty so it wasn’t easy to consume. However, the friendly service and delicious snacks made up for it.”

“Emma’s is not like just a bagel place like its name. It serves a variety of selections on the menu besides bagels. LOX omelette was great! The lox cooked too much during the process ( I assumed) making it too dry, but it still was very flavorful and yummy. The warm toasted bagel melted the cream cheese perfectly and the hash browns had a wonderful crisp to them. definitely a good breakfast/brunch place. Highly recommended! 5/5”

“Unfortunately I’m sensing a pattern with poor service after coming here more. The front of house in particular is severely lacking with uncommunicative and apathetic behavior. For example they went to sit us right in front of the door during a cold winter while 90% of the rest of the space was available. Upon request to sit somewhere where there won’t be a draft, barely any response was given while they awkwardly brought us to another table, but *would not* allow us to sit in a booth and couldn’t provide a reason as to why not. Also unfortunate since it was for my birthday. I’m not sure if the pay here is poor which results in this kind of service (pretty much across the board), training, or what the issue is, but I think it warrants some attention. Throughout a sitting it gets pretty grating and irritating. The brunch food remains pretty tasty, though I do think it could be refreshed a bit more often with new or updated items. The warm beverage situation seems a bit limited, as in there are no syrups for something like a vanilla latte, not even a sweetened latte (you do that yourself with the provided sugars), no chai tea. Would be great if they had these options to match the more robust menu. Interior is quite lovely. The interior is a bit upscale and glamorous with velvet booths, mid century globe lighting, wood furniture pieces, and lots of old vintage style quirky art on the walls.”

“Old school dining experience. Brightly lit with no music (or maybe it was too quiet?). No actual candles or table decor. Went here for my thirtieth birthday, and the food was completely bland. Thirty something dollar basil pasta had cheap mozzarella balls, no real basil for decoration. Alfredo didn’t have any seasonings, not a fleck of parsley or anything. Calamari was okay but wasn’t what was described on the menu. Striped bass was again, just okay. Overall, everything just needed depth and flavor. Had to pay for bread at the table, and it didn’t come with oil or rose shaped butter (I don’t think it came with butter at all). Our server kept sniffling very obnoxiously, and it was wintertime so that was off putting. Completely overpriced. Plates should have been $25 tops, if that. Seafood was nearly appropriately priced. Wish I would have spent my birthday and $300+ elsewhere.”
