“My neighborhood donut shop closed a year or so ago. I remembered this place and I'm glad I did. They young lady that assisted me was pleasant and knowledgeable about the donuts. I came the first few times at night but today I went at 4pm hoping there would be a wide variety of donuts. I was looking for Bavarian creme, apple spice and blueberry donuts but their inventory was low so I settled for honey dipped donuts. They were fresh and delicious but I wish I had gone before my preferences had sold out. Should have more variety at 4pm but I'll definitely be back.”

Really not any different than bread in a bagel shape. Nowhere else can you find a better genuine and true bagel than here at Detroit Bagel. Heavy, chewy and delicious. Believe me, I keep looking! “Absolutely divine milkshakes, friendly service, and a nice, cozy atmosphere. I especially liked that I could have protein powder mixed into the shake, thus making them a great 'reward' for a hard day of sports/at the gym. Will definitely come back as often as my macros allow 🤤. UPDATE: Have been back multiple times since posting this, and the service was always super friendly. Sometimes stuff is out of stock, so going right after a weekend might not be the best idea, but no matter what you get, it's going to be delicious. My favorite shakes so far have been the Reese's and the Pumpkin Pie freakshakes, but the s'mores and black maba were excellent as well. Their baklava is super tasty, too, as are the cookies. UPDATE 2: The tastyness of the cookies has been verified by multiple sources after buying multiple batches for my team at the factory. The chocolate chip cookies, in particular, are worthy of note just for how absurdly loaded they are with chocolate chips. So far, my favourite flavours have been the chocolate chip, the butterscotch, the Reese's, and the s'mores. Their smoothie/acai bowls are also excellent and once again, the friendliness of the staff has been without compare. I would recommend this place without hesitation. UPDATE 3: Every time I think of where I want to go out for lunch, I keep getting drawn back here for a smoothie bowl (when I feel like eating healthy) or a milkshake (when I don't). The woman who runs the place is so kind and friendly, when I show up, I feel like I've been adopted into a family. The food is so good, and the staff, so nice, I think this is as close to a 'perfect' cafe as I could find.”

“Sierra station came highly recommended by my brother in laws family for a great Mexican spot near Gross Pointe so we decided to give it a try for our last night in town! First of all I will say the vibe of the restaurant feels very authentic! I love the decor that they have and the colorful dining tables and chairs throughout the place. Only thing missing was a live mariachi band! I definitely had high expectations from when we first arrived. The waitress was good, she came to get our order pretty quickly after being seated. Mostly everyone ordered an alcoholic drink. Of course my go to was a strawberry margarita. From what I remember it was decent, nothing special but margaritas are pretty basic drinks. I think it was a bit watered down in all honesty. My husband and I shared the combination dinner which includes a flour taco, cheese enchilada, tostada and beef burrito. With rice and beans on the side. We enjoyed everything in the plate, the enchilada and taco were my top picks from the selection. Realistically the food tasted like anything I could get here in SoCal though. I felt like the flavor was a bit lacking. Not knocking them at all but I did expect it to be a bit better. 4 stars because their food was good and service wasn’t bad! Just wish it was more authentic.”
