“FOOD: All the food we ordered tasted great. My only complaint is I feel it is slightly over priced compared to what you get. DRINKS: I got the ipso facto which was a great take on an old fashioned but also slightly overpriced. My wife got wine and noticed that the pour she received was less than a nearby table received. I guess it all depends on your server in regards to this. SERVICE: Service was just OK, there were times we waited over 5 minutes for our server to come around. They were friendly and informative though. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant itself is decorated great, love the location. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable and where we were seated, one of us directly faced the sun. They did have curtains but they were not thick enough to block the sun. You'd think for this particular table they would've put thicker curtains or resolved this seemingly known issue for as long as they've been open. Bottom line if you don't care about price or the other issues I mentioned, the food is great and I'd recommend it. I feel as if other places like The Fig Tree in Charlotte offer an overall better experience for a similar price.”

“Ended up picking up a cheesecake for a birthday. The Blueberry lemon cheesecake was excellent! It was delicious and had a perfect texture, not too heavy or rich. The graham cracker crust was delicious and perfectly matched to the cake. Not one piece was left from the party. The cakes and pies are priced higher than most but they are definitely worth it.”

“After two attempts, I finally got my hand on some doughnuts at MJs. Since the selection was vast, I ordered as much as my wallet would allow. 4 Apple Fritters, a Maple Bacon donut, Cinnamon Sugar, and a Cinnamon Roll along with a glazed twisted doughnut. Now the doughnuts were cold, but what do you expect? There's no conveyor belt here ( hint hint). I know when a doughnut needs seven seconds in the microwave to really shine and let me tell you I'd trade everything I ordered for the Maple bacon doughnut because that was the "one" for me. With my order and after finding out that it was my first time successfully visiting (remember I went before and there wasn't that big of a selection, so I left empty-handed), she gave me a ton of doughnut holes on top of all that I ordered. They weren't my favorite doughnuts, but they were really good. The owner, I assume, was the woman working the front, but nonetheless, she was kind and so warm. As I was leaving, there were a few ppl coming in, and they seemed like regulars because she was preparing his box as he walked in, and I could hear some friendly banter!”

We got a vanilla cake with chocolate ganache and it turned out to be the right choice for the part. They did a nice work on design and taste. “Wow!!! It's definitely a must if you wanted to try any type of boba tea blended. First, I came in with lots of questions cause everything I was eye tasting, lol. The guy taking our order was very friendly and patient with me while I was ordering for a hit minute. The decor of the places made it very adventurous to be here. While they were courteous, it was evident that they were either overwhelmed or lacking in efficiency, resulting in longer wait times. When it comes to the burgers, they were good but unfortunately fell short of expectations for a full american experience. While the patties had juiciness and were cooked well, they lacked flavor and the toppings were nothing extraordinary. If you're a burger aficionado, you might find yourself a bit underwhelmed by the offerings. I believe it was best said by my friend at the table that the fries stole the show over everything. However, if you're already in a jovial state, the burgers can still satisfy a craving for something hearty. In summary, All American Pub may not be the top choice for outstanding service or memorable burgers. However, if you're already a little drunk and looking for some late-night sustenance without high expectations, it can be a suitable option. The reasonable prices and greasy food are the main highlights that make this pub worth considering for a casual outing.”
