“Celebrated our son’s birthday at the Antique Bar & Bakery! Loved the atmosphere!! The menu reads like a movie script! There’s movies playing on the walls— circa the 1960’s with scenes of Hoboken. Our Server Jack was AWESOME! He knew the drink and food menu well. Appreciated his recommendations! We made reservations and we were seated while we waited for my daughter and boyfriend. Enjoyed cocktails! Once we were all there!, Jack informed us! We need to place the entire order- appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts! He gave us plenty of time to look over menu! Appetizers were delicious! The meat special was served with sides. The short rib was served over mashed potatoes with a spicy kick. The rest of entrees, you needed to order sides. We ordered way too many sides! The carrots were my favorite side! I absolutely love bread pudding! This bread pudding was top notch! Loved it!!! From the presentation to the taste! And you can order the bread pudding online with goldbelly! We got our check inside a book! Clever!!! Suggest you make reservations! Plan ahead, always traffic to get to Hoboken and you have to find metered street parking. You have to feed the meter until 9pm. Noticed on Sundays they serve brunch! “Cute little bake shop it is super tiny and cozy inside. There is no seating but the bake goods are very organized. We tried the following: Banana Pudding - not bad Ube Flan- a bit too sweet for me Chocolate Chip Cookie- this is a soft bake cookie super similar to the Pepperidge soft bake cookies available in supermarkets. Ube Cookie- soft cookie not very sweet. Ube cupcake- small medium moist with a hint of Ube taste. There were signs in the store that says the chocolate cookies the most popular item but it was just okay. We suggest getting the Ube cupcake out of all the items we tried.”

Be mindful of the spice level, mild was a little hotter than expected for me. - Quality: The quality of the food was really good! Only thing that I wasn’t too fond of was the single piece of bread. I think a biscuit could be a better alternative than a slice of bread. - Taste: The chicken was coated just right, so much flavor. Just the smell of the chicken had my mouth watering! And the Twinz sauce was a great option for the chicken. - Favorite: I like the chicken and waffles, and the chicken with fries. Customer Service: Everyone was very pleasant to speak to. They also were intended to close but allowed us and a couple of others to order which was nice. I ordered Thai Spicy, by my standard of Thai food it was medium spicy. The service was good. Overall One Dee missed the mark on authentic Thai. Westernized Thai is more accurate.”
