“Everything we have bought at this bakery has been delicious and all the flavors are super unique which I love. Recently had the Yakult cheesecake and that was fresh, creamy and really tasty. We also got one of the Christmas themed cakes- the strawberry pistachio one, and not only is it beautiful but its also delicious and packaged so nicely complete with candles and plates. The price for it at $38 is also super fair and we even got a complimentary drink when we purchased, which was a lovely surprise. Service here is always so friendly and helpful and it’s also a nice place to sit for a bit and enjoy your sweets if you have time.”

“This place changed the ownership, and I’m very disappointed. The previous owner had delicious croissants, and it was airy and buttery. I gave a new owner a try; after I cut it open, it is NOT CROISSANT! It is better to not sell the item in your store because it is just hard dense bread, no air pockets, dry, no butter. I also noticed the person who bagged and checked out the order was keeping touching his face and noise, no glove and didn't wash his hands. I no longer recommend this bakery to my friends and family.”

“Love this bakery/cafe! It was a short walk from my Airbnb and I visited a few mornings for an iced latte and some baked goods. They have a huge selection of sweet and savory pastries, sandwiches, breakfast, and drinks. Everything I had was excellent, especially their macarons. The coffee drinks are great too, since they use quality Italian espresso. Highly recommend stopping in!”

“Got there on a cold, snowing night! It wasn’t packed at all. My husband and I were able to look over the menu with no rush. We got a strawberry sprinkle and a raspberry glazed with marshmallow and jelly. We also grabbed some coffee. Everything was made fresh and so yummy and warm! The doughnut was SLIGHTLY toasty and gooey in the middle. So so so good and yummy! Perfect for this winter night!”

“I was excited for my meal after reading excellent reviews here. The no menu schtick is a trap for the chef to provide inconsiderate service and arbitrary pricing. When I walked in I bought into the romanticization of the chef owner concept. Don’t make that mistake. By the time I left, 2 hours later for 2 small dishes, I’d been served over-cooked, over-seasoned, lazily prepared food in an uncomfortable setting. I was charged an exorbitant price for the displeasure. Worst meal I’ve had in NYC. Due to the chef’s aggressive and rude manners I couldn’t have a conversation with my guest without the chef intruding. I am alarmed by the lack of basic food handling safety. The chef and owner Ali was coughing and sneezing onto the dishes as he prepared them. Bleach and other cleaning products are stored haphazardly adjacent to food prep areas. See attached photo for the conditions of the cooking space and equipment. Due for an inspection ASAP. Do yourself a favor and go to any number of excellent options in the neighborhood instead.”

All the food is cold, so I wanted to get something that was supposed to be served cold. I got a shrimp rice roll, which I knew wasn’t going to be good, but how bad could it possibly be? Bad, very bad. The rice roll was congealed and had this weird fermented taste. The shrimp inside of it weren’t fresh at all. There are just so many better bakery’s in flushing, why waste your time on this one?”

Call the chef out! It was suuuuperrrrrr delicious! So flaky and crispy outside, while the inner part was so soft, springy, and moist. How come you only open a store in Astoria? 🥯The bagel was good too! After heated up, it had soft and chewy texture with a crispy edge. Cinnamon roll was ok, I would not recommend but nothing wrong with it.”
