In my experience restaurants with prime locations in the center of the town square don’t go beyond the norm, but Enne is an exception to the rule. They aren’t coasting on their location—they’ve got incredible food and hospitality too. It’s an absolute gem in the piazza with a great view of the basilica and for people watching.”

“If you intend to order their "Fresh Crab", be prepared to receive a gorgeous but empty shell. They served pasta with a side of legs and a claw. The entire body of the crab was missing from the plate. I asked the waiter what happened to the body (where 80% of the meat is) - he said it's cooked together with the pasta. It still didn't explain where the meat is, so I asked if they throw it away after the pasta is ready - the waiter said he doesn't know. For the price you obviously don't expect a 5 star lobster, but the title said "Fresh Crab with Pasta", so you could reasonably think that you receive an actual crab, however small. Unfortunately that was not the case. The waiter apologized multiple times for the experience, even though it was absolutely not his fault. As a tourist in a foreign country it's most polite if you pay the entire bill and not make any drama, however, I do not recommend their crab dish to anyone. Unless you're keen to be disappointed, of course.”

“We went for their Christmas Eve brunch and it was excellent! They had a two piece jazz cover band playing which was simply delightful. The food was great, the service typically Italian, but with the quality of the ambience and all that we received, I would definitely give it a try again. It's especially nice to see that freshly squeezed juice is just that, freshly squeezed(!) and not overly saturated with sugar. All in all we had a lovely time and it's definitely worth skipping lunch for!”

“We went there for a breakfast on a Sunday. We were 6 people and a dog; two arrived 10 minutes before the others and we're continuously pressed by the staff, who told them multiple times they could not occupy the seats. It was prohibited to have two tables close to each other. Furthermore, they did not allow the dog in, despite being very calm and small. Dogs are allowed only until 9.30 in the weekend.”
