The menu could have been more varied, however the brunch items we tried were certainly above average. I did think the overall prices were a bit high and I didn't love my cocktail. Wouldn't specifically come back for another meal, but would visit again if friends wanted to go.”

“We were a party of 10 so our expectations were set accordingly.... meaning it may take a while to receive food and drink. But that wasn't the case as everything came out at a wonderful pace. We had a couple appetizers including the peppers and the calamari, both of which were very good. Our entrees all came out within moments of each other and were very hot and delicious. We finished with coffees and desserts, which were also excellent. Despite being a large party they did not automatically include the gratuity, and were happy to tip higher than normal. Very wonderful evening and I'm looking forward to our next visit.”

“We stopped by here for the first time this past week. We were very happy with everything that we ordered. We did go earlier in the evening and saw just how busy it was getting when we were getting ready to leave. I tried a few different beers and enjoyed all of them. We also tried some of the food menu items and were happy that we did. I really liked the chicken tacos. They had just a little bit of heat, which I enjoyed. The bbq wings were also very good. The cheese burger was very good as well. It was quite busy when we were leaving, but the crew was working like a well-oiled machine. Everyone was moving with purpose, whether it was running food or drinks and checking in on people. We talked to who I think was the GM, a very nice guy. I'm looking forward to going back and trying out more items.”

“The atmosphere and service here is great! Hidden Still has a cozy bar surrounded by restaurant seating and is a perfect location for friends, families, and groups to catch up over drinks or food. The drinks were fantastic (collectively we had margaritas, the EB, and the Sazerac). The food was pretty good, although the drinks were definitely the highlight. They give massive portion sizes for the prices, and I really enjoyed the grouper enchiladas. I highly recommend checking this place out!”

“We came here for dinner and drinks - a truly great dining experience! The atmosphere is rustic and fun. The team here was very friendly and helpful. Though the team mentioned they scaled back their menu due to staffing shortages, the menu still offered a lot of good choices. The jackfruit tacos were a unique menu item that we haven't seen before in this area - and seriously tasty. We also tried the loaded fries with pulled pork which was delicious. For dessert, we had the cast iron cookie, which came out incredibly hot, but a great treat! The beers were also awesome - we tried the Undercover Mother milkshake IPA as well as the peach vanilla sour. Definitely recommend both. Even though it's been a tough run for many restaurants lately, MGCB is still going strong! Looking forward to stopping back in the future!”

Funny story while I was there I put down the fork in the plate about to wrap up the salad, and bang! the kid was behind me asked me if i he could take the plate. Snuck up on me like a hawk. I gave him my plate and he was gone. Kinda felt like they were running out of plates in the back he wanted that plate so bad. I laughed about it for a while after. The combos were very delicious and authentic. We enjoyed the meal very much. The waitress explained the meals well and was very elegant, but seemed tired and was slow at times. Probably the fact that it was Dec 25 at night has something to do with slow service.”
