“Great spot for a wonderful dinner. Very personalized, which I love. I had a great experience and we had wonderful service from the whole staff. The bartender is great as well. I had the perfectly cooked filet and loved it as is. He had the salmon, which he loved as well. Parking is easy. It's definitely a hidden gem 💎. They had someone playing music 🎶 which was great for the ambiance. Nice bar set up and cool art. The 3 different salts for the bread were a great touch. They have a great wine selection as well. The server was very attentive and well worded. We loved every bit of this place. Thank you for making our evening so special and giving us a celebration 🍾 toast. The handwritten note at the table was a perfect touch as well. We will be coming back!! 🙌”

“Cool little bar. I ordered teriyaki wings, Lance ordered a salad. The bartenders and owner were friendly. We liked sitting at the bar outside and the windows opened up to the bar, which was cool. The sauce on the wings were good, but the wings themselves were just ok. The salad was ok.”

“First time here but definitely won’t be our last. Grabbed an early dinner as they opened and was greeted by the hostess who opened the door for us and welcomed us in. Server was equally pleasant and the food was exceptional. I had a Rooster Old Fashion followed by Bisque de Poisson (Halibut served in a savory chowder with potatoes, roasted corn, and bacon finished with jalapeño slices, cilantro, cram and sherry), and my wife had the Braised Short Ribs with pan jus, served over mashed potatoes and southern braised succotash. I could tell my dish was going to be delicious when I caught a whiff of it as it was placed in front of me. I’m not a huge fan of short ribs, but one taste of my wife’s dish and I was an instant convert. Both plates were delicious and Lucky Rooster has won a coveted place on our HHI Favorite List. We will definitely be back before we head home again! Delicious!!”

“We were in Bonneau staying just down the street for a few days. We stopped by this little hidden gem at the end of the street on Lake Moultrie. The waitress was great. The food was great. We sat out on the patio. The sunset was beautiful. I would definitely recommend. The fried shrimp was tender and tasty and the Philly fantastic.”

“Ok, I've read many mixed reviews on this restaurant. Our experience tonight and mind you this was a first visit, one word, amazing! I felt really good vibes from the clientele, very polite staff and great food. Our waiter Darren M was more than helpful and kind. Gave good suggestions and was a cool guy in general. Had the meat & three (Meatloaf) which I very much enjoyed. Ignore any negative reviews, I honestly had trepidation about trying this gem of a restaurant, so glad I gave them a try. Will return to try the Cuban sandwich next time.”

“Overall a great beachside dinner. Sat outside and enjoyed an ocean view. Corn Hole, giant Jenga, and a sandy area are available while you wait. Walk up from the beach walkway, an easy walk from the public parking area or be lucky enough to grab a parking spot or front. At 415 there was plenty of seating inside and out. The hush puppies with honey butter were the best I've ever tasted! The lobster in the lobster Mac & cheese was really delicious. Lobster Roll was seasoned with dill and yummy. Shrimp Tacos were described as "mangoey, spicy, and shrimpy." Fries were well seasoned but we'd pass on the grits next time. Fish Tacos were okay and filling. Would come back to try other menu items or walk up from the beach and enjoy the outside bar.”

“By looks of the menu, this meal should have been out of this world. Sadly it was not, we had the filet and stuffed flounder. The filet was not a good cut of meat, it was tough at medium well. The stuffed flounder was not even heat in temperature and lacked flavor. The cooks, as they clearly weren’t chefs were on their phones or talking while we were there. Our waitress was lovely. Will not come back for the price of go to Alexander’s 10x over”

I would give this place 5 stars but the entree food was not tasty and the price was high. He spent $160 for 2 with just one drink and some snacks. The place is located in a fancy hotel, I get it but I think it could be either the better menu or better pricing. Overall, the service was very nice and the atmosphere was amazing!!! You can spend some time there too and no one is bothering you about it — that’s a good thing. Was not too busy at a Friday night as well (surprising).”
