Closed until 12:00 PM

3A Main St, Lobethal SA 5241, Australia

“What an incredible place. The food is next level. Four of us had three different dishes. Everyone of them was a standout. Incredible flavour. Then some seriously delicious desserts. All washed down with some very flavoursome beer. A talented bunch of chefs. The owner is a friendly and social bloke. Incredible atmosphere. Can not rate this place highly enough. A must visit.”

“I got a miso mushroom halloumi burger and it wasn’t bad. I enjoyed the sauce and the halloumi was nice and charred. However, the bread was a bit too toasted for my liking. A slightly less dry bread would be nice, but to each their own perhaps. However, my bread wasn’t nearly as bad as my partner’s BBQ bacon cheeseburger! The bun was too toasted - the texture was unpleasant to eat (hard, crunchy and drier). And the burger pattie was not big/wide enough for the bun. You had to get a mouthful of only bread before you reached the pattie. And his chips serving looked quite small. We compared it to a companion who had bought the same burger and his quality seemed better. Even the chips serving looked more rewarding. The varied consistency is disappointing, between the same meal, as well as different meals. It would also be nice if they had a place for us to get our own water. I think overall, given the price of the burgers, the quality for all the burgers coupled with the lack of consistency was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t terrible but I would recommend avoiding the cheese and bacon burger. Plenty of people and families were there too, and nice and clean bathrooms.”

Oyster Bar Holdfast Shores

Closed until 11:30 AM

Marina Pier, 10 Chappell Dr, Glenelg SA 5045, Australia

“First time in Adelaide and we were after oysters so came to this place. Amazing marina view and friendly stuff. Good choice of oysters both grilled and raw, however the grazing plate was a bit of a bummer. For $70 the contents were a little too simple and not that great. On a good side, wines and cocktails were really nice!”

The Golden Wattle

110 Pirie St, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia

“The Golden Wattle Pub on Pirie Street in Adelaide is a classic Australian pub that serves up delicious food and drinks in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I've been there a few times now, and I've always had a great experience. The pub has a wide range of food options on offer, from pub classics like burgers, steaks, and schnitzels to more modern dishes like pulled pork tacos and cauliflower wings. I've tried a few different things on the menu, and I've never been disappointed. The food is always well-cooked and flavorful, and the portions are generous. The drink menu is also extensive, with a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails to choose from. I'm a big fan of their craft beers, and they always have a good rotation of different taps on offer. The Golden Wattle Pub is a great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the staff are always happy to help. The prices are also very reasonable, making it a great value for money option. Here are some of the things I liked most about the Golden Wattle Pub: The food is delicious and well-priced. The drink menu is extensive, with a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails to choose from. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The staff are always happy to help. Overall, I highly recommend the Golden Wattle Pub to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a casual meal and drinks with friends or family.”

“Such a nice little place with a quiet & classy ambience to it. Looks to be a famly run business which m a es you feel at home when visiting. Pizzas were amazingly good + a nice offering of beverages from local producers in town.”

Lambert Estate Wines
4.7
( 8 reviews )

55 Long Gully Rd, Angaston SA 5353, Australia

“We don't drink so were only visiting for the food and scenery, but we weren't disappointed. The bread and pizza and sous vide chicken thigh with crispy skin were all delicious - perhaps my favourite meal during our trip to Adelaide. I recommend booking - we were fortunate to get the last table for lunch having called only a few minutes in advance.”

5th Quarter

Colonnades Tavern Colonnades Shopping Centre, Noarlunga Centre SA 5168, Australia

“We were pleasantly surprised by this place! I didn’t expect much based on the outside of the building and its location, but inside was really nice, we were seated at a booth which was big enough for a large family, the decor was very modern and the staff were really friendly. Food was great and you cannot beat the price at $12 for a schnitzel with chips, salad and gravy! (Tuesday night special). Kids meal was a huge portion too. All up we fed our family of four, with drinks, for $65. That’s less than some takeout places. Really impressed and will definitely be back again!”
