“Where to begin?! The inside of the tap room is super cool. I've been to many breweries over the years and they nailed the inside. High ceilings...games...open...plenty of tables and bar space...and the bartenders were super friendly and prompt. Offered their advice on what to try and with so many options, I started with a flight since it was my first time here. I highly recommend a flight if you're a first timer. I then ordered from the BBQ joint inside called Smoked Out and Holy cow was their Flying Pig amazing. I've never had a pulled pork sandwich like that and the fries were super hit and seasoned perfectly. Paired perfectly with the brews. I can handle a little IPA action so I chose to try their Bootsy IPA and was not disappointed. Crisp...citrus...and just enough of IPA to compliment this summer day. I'm only in town for the week but if I'm ever back in the area, this would be a go to spot for sure. Don't hesitate...check this place out and enjoy!”

“My partner and I went to the Academy for our engagement dinner. We didn't want anything super fancy (or super pricey!) and we're not native to this area of Cleveland, so we pulled up some local restaurants and the Academy looked great to us. We weren't disappointed! After a very brief moment of confusion when we walked in - I thought it might be a UK pub-type setup, where you order at the bar - we sat ourselves and our server, the manager for the night (so sorry I forgot your name!) came right over. The manager was amazing: great service, really kind, and clearly loves the place. We each had an Ace pineapple cider, which was maybe one of the best ciders I've ever had (and I love hard ciders). On tap, perfect blend of sweet and dry, and the pineapple flavor isn't overpowering. I liked it so much I had a second. For food, we got six Buffalo wings, a basket of onion rings, and the Academy burger and fries. The wings were literally everything I want from a chicken wing: fresh, hot, tossed but not soaked in sauce. Some people might prefer a crisper wing - as far as I could tell, these weren't battered or floured (although I could be wrong) but for me they were perfect. The onion rings were fresh out of the fryer and not too greasy, so that's an immediate win. We didn't end up eating much of the burger, but that's through no fault of the burger! The portion of it I did have was well cooked, juicy, and thick. Great quality burger, I just wish I was hungry enough for it! And, of course, my fiancé's star of the show: the fries. Fries were the perfect thickness, not too thick and not too tiny, freshly cooked, and the seasoning on them was top notch. I think my partner ate more of the fries than any other part of the meal. All this and our meal and drinks came out to about $47! I literally did a double take at the bill because I couldn't believe it was so low. I want to give a special shout out to the manager (again, so sorry I forgot your name) for being so helpful and kind. Without him our experience would still have been great, but he was an absolute star.”

“The first time visiting this restaurant was excellent. We had great service and the fajitas were the best. A week later we visited again and the food was horrible. Looks like they cooked the fajitas with water to try to speed it up. They also made us feel really uncomfortable as the guy at the bar was playing on his phone and staring at us the whole time. We gave it a few weeks, than came back again hoping that we would have the same experience that we had during the first visit. This time the restaurant was dirty and we had trash under our table. The fajitas were undercooked (not raw). The chips were really hard and unsalted. It was also really cold in the restaurant and the thermostat read 65 degrees. The only thing consistent about this place is the inconsistently.”

“Great off the beaten path restaurant. The Ribs had great flavor, were very moist and the meat pulled off the bone easily. The Shrimp were cooked perfectly. The carrots tasted very good but were a little softer than I like. That being said, I'd order them again because of the flavor. I also had their salad bar. It's a great salad bar and easy to get to much. The price was fair considering the great meal I had. Get there early because this place gets busy and the wait will get long. “Located on the west side of the square in the heart of downtown Medina is this little gem - the food is fantastic (tastes great, plus good value for the price, i.e. leftovers!), the atmosphere is cool, and the service staff are very friendly, as is the manager! We both had the chef special hand held (should be ' hands held", requires two hands unless you are Shaq-sized! Haha) with crispy chicken - tender, juicy, and tasty! I was surprised by how flavorful their french fries are and the mac-n-cheese also has great flavor. Worth a trip to Medina if you don't live in these parts 👍👍”

“This place still has great tasting chicken and garlic toast, but that’s where the positives stop. They used to be SO good, much better than Raising Cane’s however lately they’ve been giving one very tiny chicken strip among your order and counting it as a whole strip and they’ve made their once amazing sauce inedible water by trying to stretch it super thin to save themselves a few bucks. Their garlic bread has also noticeably shrank. All this on top of an outrageous price ($35 for two people) has really tarnished this once great restaurant.”

My sandwich was delicious, the Philly cheesesteak. I do not recommend the pasta and shrimp it was literally all butter there was no flavor at all (we poured it in the glass in the picture). The meatlovers Stromboli was amazing. I highly recommend. I also recommend the wraps they were also delicious. My son had the Buffalo chicken and the chicken Ceasar wrap. “Pretty solid place for a casual dinner. Cool decor. Great beer selections. Large party, seated quickly. Pretzels were pretty good but the queso combo was not as good as the honey mustard stuff. Brussels sprouts were great. Most everyone in our party got different things. Bacon Jelly Burger was a little short on the bacon jelly. Patty and other toppings were good, roll was nothing special. Similar feedback on the PBB&J burger, jelly was lacking. Fries and chips were good, flatbread looked great. Good portions, fair prices. We did get hit with a 20% tip added to the bill and no one saw it until 4-5 of us had paid and over tipped at that point. Would be nice if they just gave a heads up before we started paying. I would probably go back but not for a burger.”
