“Cozy atmosphere for good modern Creole food. The service was great, and we enjoyed seafood gumbo (really good, dark roux), crab ravioli, crab dip and oyster appetizers. For our mains, we had lamb, duck and Gulf fish (black drum). It was all very good.”

“Amazing lunch experience. Food and drinks were perfect. Service was friendly and accommodating, and they were especially helpful seating a baby at our table. The menu is a nice variety of interesting and eclectic twists on seafood staples. Also, one of the best peanut butter pies I’ve ever had. Definitely disappointing to see them close; hopefully the issues get sorted out and they can reopen with the same momentum.”

Excellent mezcal selection too. Fantastic atmosphere with outdoor seating surrounded by tropical plants and a chic indoor bar seating area set inside an art deco former service station right on hip St Claude Avenue. Truly a slice of authentic Mexico right here in Nola!”
