“A group of us rode our bikes over for Sunday brunch and were impressed by the quality of food and service. My wife and I had the Huevos Rancheros taco, the Eggs Benedict naan, and the Tex-Mex Angus Steak taco. Each one was one of the best we’ve ever had. Others in our group ordered the Little Mexico taco, Mushroom taco and the Redfish taco. Everyone rated their tacos as outstanding. We also ordered coffee and were pleasantly surprised to see that it was an entire pot of outstanding French press coffee. Bonus points for having a bike rack. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.”

“After driving past here numerous times, my family & I finally stopped after church last week. BABY LISTEN!!! I'm also a chef, so hear me when I tell you this, the food was Delicious! We all ordered the Catfish, Mac-n-Cheese, Candied Sweet Potatoes, and Greens (Cornbread comes w/ the food). Every single bite was immaculate! The fish was golden & crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The mac was perfection! And the potatoes were amazing as well. I even appreciated the chef letting me taste test the greens before I decided to order because I don't care for vinegar (I asked, as I know everyone cooks them differently). Although cooked beautifully (not overbearing), I could still taste the vinegar, so I opted for the red beans and rice instead, but my kids loved the greens!👌🏽 The DJ played the right mix of music for a Sunday afternoon (old school, neo-soul & jazz), and it wasn't terribly crowded like I thought it would be. We were seated almost immediately. It's a very nice establishment. The staff are friendly and it's clean. I will definitely be returning. Oh, and that Lavendar Lemonade is tasty, too!”

“I had a craving for some catfish and went on a search for a good spot in Houston. I am orginally from ATL so I search for reviews of places to visit on social media and came across a tiktok and choose Daiqus. I was greeted at the bar by Tee. He was so personable and anticipated my every need. He asked me if I needed help with the menu and took my order quickly. My drink and food came out fast. THE FOOD WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS! I ordered the catfish basket with shrimp... every bite was fresh seafood and freshly fried to perfection. This is definitely my go to spot for catfish cravings and southern food cravings 😋. I had the pleasure to meet Chef Harvey who prepared my food and I personally thanked him. He has a true spirit and appreciation for what he does and it shows in the food he prepares. He brought me a lil bit to try of the greens, yams, mac n cheeae and red beans & rice all of them where delicious. I literally ordered a Mac n cheese on the spot to take home. Ike the other bartender also stopped to check on me during my time here and the guy with the hookahs did as well. Overall EVERYONE was amazing. I'll be back for sure!!”

“Once I walked in, I noticed the restaurant clean and inviting with music playing. The server was at the cashier, ready to take my order. Only waited 10 minutes for food to be ready. Oxtails were tender and flavoravle, cabbage was delicious, plantains could have been cooked longer for more of a char, and white rice was undercooked with hard pieces of rice with each bite. Chicken patty was flaky, crispy and full of flavor.”

“First, I have to say that my wife is not a huge fan of Tex Mex, but she actually wants to go back to this place. That alone gets them 5 stars. The food was fantastic. Best Menudo I have ever had in a restaurant. The sauces were really good, the green sauce was deceptively hot bit good flavor. The drinks were strong and the portions of food were just right. Overall everything was clean and the service was good. I don't speak Spanish and that was a bit difficult, but we got everything we ordered made correctly and they were patient with our ordering. A definite, good place to eat.”

“First time here, we arrived on a Friday at about 2. Didn't expect such nice detail inside. Ordered Queso w Steak as appetizer. Serious thumbs up. The homemade tortilla chips and the cilantro lime creme (I think) sent that appetizer over the top! We had to get 2 refills on the chips, but Chris our waiter was always right on time! I had the mixed fajitas. The chicken was moist and the beef was good. Generous portions. This restaurant may just become our go to... Prices were not bad either! We also were given a cup of mushroom soup to try. I don't care for mushrooms, but it was really good. My husband sure slurped it down! I hope this restaurant digs it's heels in here and stays consistent. This area needs good businesses like this one! Give Chris the waiter a good tip when you go in..his service is worth it!”

“A truly Korean experience, everyone there is so nice and very willing to help you have the most delicious and fun meal out you've probably ever had. The restaurant is tucked away like a hidden gem and offers an atmosphere of peaceful community. The prices seem a bit high but when they bring out the plates of meats to cook along with all the included sides you forget about your wallet as your thoughts are drowned out by your growling stomach as well as the sizzle and smell of the meat at your table.”

“I came here for the first time in July and I just revisited yesterday, I have to say I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer from now on. The service for a fast casual hippie-chic Taiwanese restaurant exceeded my expectations! I ordered a Hot Chicken Sammy (Szechuan Style) only and for some reason the Cashier working the shift misheard me and rang me up for Spicy Popcorn Chicken instead. I didn't pay much attention either to the price difference until someone brought my food to me. When I realized it was not the chicken sammy, I immediately returned it to the counter to see whether there was a mix-up. Turns out she hit the wrong button and undercharged me. The owner himself came out to apologize to me in person and told me they are working on making my Hot Chicken Sammy stat and not to worry about paying extra. Needless to say they are very honest with running their business here and I appreciate their efforts to go above and beyond to ensure I had a good dining experience! The verdict on the HOT/Spicy Szechuan Chicken Sammy is it's mouthwatering good!! I ate a full serving of popcorn chicken beforehand and I was still drooling when they brought out the Sammy! The heat is actually very mild to my palate, for comparison purposes Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich is definitely spicier. I've also had the salt and pepper fries before and both the popcorn chicken and fries come with a side of Sriracha Mayo. The drinks are ok but very expensive in my opinion. I've only had the yakult green tea and it's very refreshing on a hot summer day and pairs well with any of the spicy menu items. Highly recommend trying out the Hot Chicken Sammy more than anything else!! One star off because the seating area is very limited in capacity and the vibe here is sleepy chill...”
