Our daughter say thank you for the hats and we only hope that if we visit again, this is one of the few spots in Switzerland we will see again. 7 countries in 3 weeks by car, we saw a lot and stopped in many places. This was truly a place you NEED to see if your visiting Switzerland…that’s right. Not just if your visiting zermatt. If your on the other side of the country…get a car or train and go here. Just a “country mile” away (little hike) and your there…it’s worth it.”

The only negative point in my opinion was the size of the portion. For the price (and given we preordered for a larger group) I would have expected them to go around and offer seconds.”

“A cool, self service, grill, all you can eat restaurant for 60 Swiss francs. If you are vegetarian you pay 30 which is a lot for some veggies but still a nice gesture. The choice of meat is very diverse, they have stuff like kangaroo and deer. You can put together a salad that you can warm up with a plancha. Service is nice. Great wine and beer is all inclusive. If you don't drive and want to eat, drink to your liking and have a nice time. Go to Barbaro”

“I was looking for some restaurant for Pizza and Pasta for my family. L'osteria was definitiely a known name, buit we wanted to try some new place and Puccini was chosen. The ambience of Puccini was amazing and fgrom the first glance, we thought it will be an really expensive restaurant. When we saw the menu, to our surprise, the rates were reasonable considering it was in the Swiss. Since we had planned to take-away our dishes, the food bill be made me more delighted when I saw the reduced cost. I checked with the staff if there was any mistake, but was not. The take-aways were priced slightly lower, without any difference in taste. The food was delicious and the portion was very generous.. We didn't have such a nice Carbonara pasta in long time. Al Arabiata was amazing too. And so were the Pizzas. The staff was super friendly. There were ample space inside as well as outside to sit. It also had some private parking spaces for it's customers. I would highly recomend the restaurant.”

“This was already a while ago but now kow that I‘m reading all of these reviews I feel like sharing our experience as well. I went there with 2 friends and it was our first time at the place and the waiters reminding us constantly that they were going to close in 2 hours. We ordered the medium or small bbq menu and one side dish because we had a budget. The order took 1 hour to arrive making us stress even more as we only had 1h left to eat. We also noticed that they brought in a lot of food. We did not say mich as we thought that was part of the menu. The stress ruined the atmosphere…Later we wanted to pay and the price was somehow at 170CHF, yet we only ordered the medium menu with ONE SINGLE side dish that was maybe 12-13CHF. And we could only pay by cash too (which we weren’t reminded off when coming in) luckily we had enough cash on us. I just feel like we were charged double… because how did we end up at a price of 170CHF when we only ordered those two things. The food was kind of bland and not worth the high price AT ALL. We thought it was because of our appearance (given that we are africans) but now that I read those other reviews I see that it was not just us. The waiters weren’t rude, they were just really stressing us as they were litterally watching us eat from the front desk…We definitely won‘t be coming back…”

“Perfect location with a view to the Lugano lake. Service was friendly. The antipasti we got was delicious (perch? tartare with asparagus) and dessert (apple pie with ice cream) was also really good. Main dish was ok - we got the polenta with Moscardini (mini octopus) and the anchovy burrata and bread. I think I just chose a dish I didn't enjoy too much, and the anchovy dish was a bit underwhelming for what it cost. Would come back though to try other dishes on the menu.”
