“Cute little place, had the "fire tongue bowl" (I will not attempt to spell it in German lol) with the white wine, as I've had a lot of red gluhwein at the Christmas markets already. It was delicious, so fun to watch the sugar and run burn. And the white wine drink ends up tasting similar to like a hot apple cider. Yummmmm. Also had German pizza. Like a very thin crust pizza with pork and green onions. All delicious, server was very kind.”

“Greeted at the door and asked us what games we were interested in. As a Newcastle fan, wearing my top, we were warmly welcomed and given a seat. The Liverpool game was turned over for the Newcastle game as no one was watching Liverpool anyway, as Bayern Leverkusen were playing on the other screens. Great atmosphere for a football fan. Memorabilia everywhere, which was great to see. Beers were brought to you and a beer mat marked with how many you had purchased so you could pay when you left. Really enjoyed it.”

“When you are in the area you should try this place. The food is fresh and authentic. The Atmosphere very welcoming and warm. We tried the fish and some traditional bavarian roast with gravy and it was all extraordinarily tasty. Portions where fairly big, i can say that we did not go home hungry. The beer was also fresh and tasty. Definately a must try when in the area. Highly recommended.”

The views are to die for, but coupled with the drinks and amazing food made by the owner, what more could you ask for? We had some of the best soup I’ve ever had and amazing potato noodles which he made without sauerkraut for me! If you want authentic German food in the mountains, this is the place to try!”
