“When looking for a restaurant in Enschede this one had great reviews. We decided to check it out for my husband’s birthday. We were impressed by the interior design inside. It’s gezellig and authentic. We ordered the mixed grill for 2. My husband and I are both big eaters and we were full. We each had spare ribs, chicken, pork, beef, steak, rice, corn, patat, chimichurri sauce, salad. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I can only recommend. We will be back.”

“Visited during a winter weekend lunch, food options were very limited and definitely not matching the expectations of what is visible online. Food was ok overall, just a bit disappointed by the available choices. In front of the door entrance there are the shelves where they store the meat and it was basically empty, except a couple of steaks that have been sitting there for a bit too much, even for aged steaks. I will retry this place once hot season is back and maybe for dinner, hopefully there will be more meat in the menu. The restaurant was clean and service good, appreciated their beers.”

“Great service and good food with a lot of local dishes for you to try. The bistro is in the city center which is great to walk and near a lot of bars. They have good vegetarian options as well as different dishes with meat and fish. As appetizers we ordered camembert with blackberry jam (amazing!!!), onion soup and shrimp. For main dish I ordered their famous spare ribs with garlic sauce and it was amazing, truly recommend!!! Amazing atmosphere and would for sure dine there again 💛”

“I recently had the opportunity to dine at restaurant and I must say, it was quite an interesting experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the fact that the menu was only available in the local language. As someone who doesn't speak the language, it was a bit challenging to understand what each dish was. Unfortunately, the customer service staff were unable to explain the menu to us in English as they did not speak the language. However, despite the language barrier, they were young and friendly, making an effort to assist us as best they could. Now, let's talk about the food. The dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were rich and the presentation was impressive. However, there was one minor drawback for us - everything seemed to be a bit too sweet. While some people may enjoy this, it was a personal preference that didn't quite align with our taste buds. Overall, despite the language barrier and the sweetness of the dishes, we had a pleasant experience at the restaurant. The customer service staff were kind and accommodating, and the food, although not to our exact liking, was still of high quality. If you're someone who enjoys sweet flavors and is open to trying new dishes, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Restaurant is very well nicely decorated with fire pit inside.”

“A jam in the country side! Great atmosphere, great & friendly service and the meat...one of the best! Don't come hungry (also because it takes a while for the meat to cook and you don't won't to spoil your appetite with bread) Loved the building - wood, brick and glass with enough space to sit and have a huge board of meat. Coming from Amsterdam area this place doesn't seem pricy to me but one might think it is l, but I believe it worth it!”
