“Very good food, seasoning at the right point. It has a kids menu and great drinks. They need to improve the dessert and parking is on the street. But overall it's good. I recommend.”

“Black pepper gnocchi was really good, just a tad too salty. But I could tell it was really nicely made, good ingredients and lots of flavour. I would definitely recommend (if they would tone down the saltiness by a bit). The fries were really nice, crispy, salted well, and savoury. The presentation of the food was great, no complaints and the food looked delicious. The service was great too: food came on time, server always checked up on us, even though they didn’t have sparkling lemonade on the menu, they still made it for us when we asked. Dessert was a warm cookie with ice cream and that was delicious, we ate it all before I even got to take a photo. A little bit on the pricier side here, but it’s Cambridge/Boston, so pretty typical. Would I come here again? Food-wise, yes. If I’m paying for the meal, no. It’s expensive.”

Field & Vine

“I've been on a fine dining rampage lately, and when I saw pictures of Field & Vine, it looked promising. As soon as you see the entrance, you can already tell that this is a unique restaurant. The inside is dimly lit, creating an intimate, sophisticated ambiance. The centerpiece is the vines that loop the open bar/kitchen. The plates are tapas, and our server recommended five dishes for two people. - Scallop tostada: The raw scallops were fresh but on the smaller side. The flavors were well balanced, and the crunchy tostada nicely juxtaposed the soft scallops. - Beef tartare: The beef tartare was also fresh, but there wasn't that much for the price. It came with a bowl of house chips, which tasted fine, but the ratio of chips to beef tartare could have been better. - Cheddar scallion cornbread: This is supposedly the crowd favorite. The cornbread was very soft and had a nice flavor, but I don't think it compares to the black sea cornbread from Sarma, which I had eaten recently and is now my standard for cornbread. I liked the miso butter more than the actual cornbread. - Smoked beets: I liked the sweetness of the beets and the crunch of the sunchoke chips. I didn't really taste the almond coffee cream. - Grilled swordfish: This was the main dish and a huge letdown. It was very bland and not worth the price. I would have rather paid for two smaller plates instead. For dessert, we ordered the ice cream sandwich and the lemon verbena panna cotta. I liked both, but the ice cream sandwich was definitely the star of the night. The cocoa nib macaron was crumbly but had a nice bite, and the semifreddo was delicious. I also liked that it came with two, which made it easy to share. Service: This is what made me debate between 3 stars vs. 4. Our server was friendly and frequently checked in on us throughout the night. However, it reached a point where we kept being asked if we were done with our plates, which clearly still had food on them, which made it obvious that we were being rushed. Reservations are booked for 2-hour stays, and we were less than 1.5 hours in at that point and working on our final bites. There were also others around us who had been seated before us and were still eating, but it was too loud to hear if they were getting the same treatment. We were mindful of the time limit and were pacing ourselves accordingly, so it didn't feel great to be rushed like that. Additionally, there is a 20% gratuity that gets automatically added, which didn't sit well because it allows for situations as described above. I always tip, and I don't have any qualms about the kitchen administration fee, as that is becoming the norm, but an automatic gratuity regardless of party size is not common. Overall, Field & Vine didn't meet my expectations, but I do think the interior is special, and I enjoyed the ice cream sandwich so much that I would recommend this place just so others can try that one dish.”

Nan's Kitchen & Market - Stow

“This place is fantastic, the kind of spot every town wished it had. First time here tried the fried chicken and the broccoli bacon blue cheese crunch, both were excellent! Crunchy, juicy, nicely seasoned chicken and that broccoli crunch was great. About a 90 min drive for me to get there and already thinking about when I'm going back. That should say it all, highly recommend Nan's Kitchen.”

Chili's Grill & Bar

“Food and service here were excellent. The crispy chicken crispers were amazing although I prefer the original recipe. The wings were also delicious as per usual.”

Roxy's Grilled Cheese & Burgers - Central Square, Cambridge

292 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139, United States

“When we arrived, it was empty and we were able to place our order right away. However, within 10 minutes they had quite the crowd at the front of the restaurant. Still, there was plenty of seating and I found the decor to be fun. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. My teen daughter and I loved our sandwiches and found that they had the perfect crispy on the outside . They were messy to eat because of how generous they were with the meat. We enjoyed the fries, which had a slight garlic Parm flavor. We did wish that there was salt and pepper at the table. The milk shakes were a great consistency and flavor. They tasted exactly like their names.”

Warp And Weft

“This place came highly recommended and we weren’t disappointed. We arrived as a jazz band was setting up and ordered our drinks. I had fish and chips with onion rings. We also had the fried pickles and my Wife had a sandwich. By the time the food arrived the band had started to play and they were really good which added to the atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly. Food was great.”

Bobby C's Ristorante

“This Italian Restaurant is a must go every time I visit the Boston area. The restaurant has nice decor with bar serving alcohol. The food taste is very authentic and is very close to those in Italy. The entree has lots of choices, from seafood, steak, pasta and pizza. Most impressed is the Tiramisu, with the right alcohol balance with the dessert. The day we visited was very busy and looked like the servers were being stressed.”

“This bar b q joint was pretty good. Everything was steaming hot and tasty. What was good is that nothing was overpowering. The amount of bar b q sauce was just right. Not the best bar b q I've had but it sure was not the worse! First visit was in April hence the Easter themed flight of drinks. Pretty good. No pic of the ribs but there were tasty too. Recommend!”

Yakitori Totto

455 Foley St, Somerville, MA 02145, United States

“Had only been to Yakitori Totto once before for lunch last year, which was a good experience. But wanted to try them out again for dinner since I was in the area, and it had been a long time. And it did not disappoint! I had a great experience! First, I was eating solo, which is not always easy for some places. Sometimes, the seating placement isn't great, the ambiance can be too loud, or the waiter might focus on a bigger party, but not my case. It was empty since I came around 4-5pm. I'm sure at dinner or the weekend, it gets busier, so might be good to make a reservation. My server, Grun, was very attentive, prompt with food and service, and even put a lamp at one of my tables since I was eating solo and it was getting dark. Great vibe for New England winters. The restaurant also has a feel of a Japanese restaurant with its wood and bottles and setup, which I thought was nice. And lastly, 2 clean bathrooms, which is something that most diners don't notice but I do. With that in mind, I got a few appetizers and skewers. I really loved the Japanese tamago omelette and the combo skewers. Everything was cooked fresh in front of me. I can see it getting pricey if you get a lot of food and alcohol, but getting a few skewers and appetizers was only $40. I'll def be back if I am in the area solo or for a date. I just love unique places with variety that you can share. All about the experience and this place delivered!”

Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq

“This was my first time here but definitely not my last. I loved everything about Guy-Kaku Japanese BBQ Dining. The food was delicious with a huge menu selection and so many options to choose from, chicken, steak, pork, shrimp and much more. There’s definitely something for everyone here. They provide a Great atmosphere with comfortable and cozy booth seating and the staff make it the complete package. One of the waitresses in particular was outstanding, her name was Minh and every table she waited on was complimenting her on doing such an incredible job. She really went over and beyond what you’d expect from a waiter and I hope her manager reads this and rewards her appropriately. I can’t wait to visit Guy-Kaku again! I highly recommend!”
