For my main course, I opted for the Spaghetti Carbonara, a classic dish executed to perfection. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the creamy sauce, infused with eggs, pancetta, and pecorino Romano cheese, was simply divine. To complement my meal, I selected a bottle of Pinot Blanc from Cosi's extensive wine list. “Good place, tasty food. The BBQ was great, we had the $79 set and got to pick three meats. We picked: pork belly, scotch fillet and beef bulgogi, it was all great! The only down point was the were asking people to post a positive google review for a free drink. Bit of a bribe… Still a good place with tasty food and nice staff.”

“I was expecting more and found the food not up to the standard I was expecting. We both ordered steak (Porterhouse and Fillet) with one being rare and the other medium. The rare was medium and the medium well-done. For the price we found them chewy and a little tough. The starter was nice and the best thing was the tomato relish with the steak. The saving grace for us was the service where they were always ready to please and make sure you are happy. With so many restaurants in Melbourne would I eat here again. Maybe not.”

We actually planned to dine at the popular establishment beside this place but they were full so we came to Tazio instead and it was one of the best decisions this trip! Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was fantastic. You need to get the arancini because that blew my mind.”

“What an amazing way to see out 2023, spent the New Years Eve at Ocean 12, with breathtaking views of our great city.. Brilliant food and Drinks all served by super friendly & courteous staff We booked a balcony table over looking the Yarra which included a delicious Dessert Buffett, add to an awesome viewing point all evening along with a sensational atmosphere with great friends & family, this was topped of by best seats in the house for the Fireworks at Midnight..We could not ask for a better way or place to see in the New Year.. **If you are thinking of what to do for NY 2024, then this is a must do, put it at the top of the list, The location, the unbeatable view, awesome atmosphere, great value for money in the best position in town..** Thanks to everyone at Ocean12, you certainly made a great memory for us and will be back!”

“Walk in table for 3 at 530 pm - no issues. We were seated quickly by friendly efficient wait staff. Cocktails and wine list was good and the bar tender did a nice job. Dinner was delicious. The duck was peep prepared and very tender. We will be back.”

“Quality Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere. Had a very nice lunch here seated in the outside area on a perfect weather afternoon. Outside was nicely shaded and had a relaxed vibe amongst the foliage. Food was incredible, we ordered the barramundi, a garlic pizza and a side and everything was top quality. Barra was cooked and flavoured perfectly and garlic pizza was so garlicy (in a good way) that we could smell it from the kitchen. Also the complementary bread was doughy deliciousness. Service was also a highlight, very friendly and good with recommendations. Even recommended me a glass of wine that wasn't on the menu and it was a perfect match to my fish. Overall would definitely recommend as one of the top restaurants in Lygon St and will be back!”

Delicious Gin Martini enjoyed with a lovely selection of Italian food. We chose three dishes and shared them all to get a taste of everything. The Vanilla Meringue cake dessert was the stand-out for me. Very impressive to look at and tasted delightful. A candle was a lovely gesture to celebrate our anniversary.”
