“I love Bar1. The service is always great, and the crowd is always welcoming. But, I IMPLORE the owners to please play better music. The music playing is always WAY too boring, slow, or odd Euro style videos that make no sense. Or else it’s people playing their own music on the jukebox. If they had a great gay playlist full of pop and dance hits with a little current and Latin tracks this would be the best gay bar in Phoenix. Until then it will be the best quiet watering hole.”

“Stopped here for a quick bite. It’s similar to the Chipotle model however I enjoyed it much more. I had the chicken and steak bowl which was delicious. They have all kinds of toppings and salsa but the difference from other places a small bag of tortilla chips is included which I found to be a nice touch. I would absolutely come back to try the rest of the menu. Service was prompt & friendly, the ingredients were fresh and the atmosphere was relaxed. There’s also a bar to sit at if you’d like a drink.”

“Upscale sonoran food in a casual environment. Bacanora is getting a lot of attention and it lived up to the hype. The lime halibut ceviche was bright, fresh and the right amount of spicy. Normally cucumber salad wouldn’t be my choice but wow the sauce was incredible. We also had the scallops, a fantastic elote and the Caramelo which has great carne asada and beans on a tostada. All elevated flavors. And as my wife said, those beans were not an afterthought. Meaty, smoky beans. Most of the magic comes from the one wood fired grill in the back corner of this cozy place. The cocktails were excellent too. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Ceara! Our meal with 4 cocktails was about $100 a piece. Pricey but excellent.”

“Excellent wings and pizza! Coming from the East Coast, Long Wongs is one of the best pizza and wing places we have found in the Valley. Great selection of wing flavors. Pizza is never too greasy. They have a big menu, but honestly, only come here when craving good pizza and wings! Prices are pretty good as well compared to other places around town.”

“The front staff was great. I ordered fried catfish, fried jumbo shrimp and side order of beans and rice to go. I was given catfish atchafala instead of just fried catfish. The crayfish tails and toast were missing from the dish, so I was given an extra waffle fry. The waffle fries were super salty and crunchy. The jumbo shrimp and red beans with rice were cooked well and tasted flavorful. My pictures do not match the photos on the website. The hush puppies were close to black color, very greasy, but had flavor. I don't know what else to say, but I'm probably not going back.”

“We showed up on a Saturday night and they were very busy. Even with that we were sat very quick and drink orders taken. My burger was very good and my wife's wings were excellent. We both had the fries and onion rings and I would not recommend either one. I would give the fries 3 stars and onion rings a solid 1. A bit loud but it's a sports bar so that's to be expected. Great service and friendly though.”

“This doesn't come close to the mom and pop deep dish pizza I used to have in my small town in Illinois growing up, but it's close to where I live now and I believe you do get what you paid for. The classic deep dish cheese pizza is tasty. I like the cheese, but I wish the outer crust was easier to get through, both with your teeth and by forking/knifing it. Recently, we also ordered a cheese calzone and it was really good. The dough was soft and not at all tough to chew like the pizza crust is.”

“My son and I ordered the wings! They were delicious, and they made Shirley Temples for my son. The Martini was spot on as well!!!When we asked for something, it was yes and never felt like we were causing an issue as some other places. The next time, I will definitely ask for another Martini!!!! Be aware from 3 pm to 4 pm. it's a limited menu. After 4 pm run to the races, everything is available for consumption!!!!”

“They accidentally charged me twice when the cashier thought it didn’t work the first time. I checked my Chase app and saw I was charged twice. So the manager took care of it crediting one of the orders. The atmosphere needs more. More Shaq, more basketball, more something. The food tasted fresh. Mine was warm rather than hot. Shakes were good too.”
