32 Withers St, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

“An amazing old school “red sauce” Italian spot. Order the garlic bread - it’s not on the menu. White table cloth and old school vibes. Cozy and they have all the traditional dishes. All the dishes were great! Will definitely be back”

“This is great. It is a great place to stop and relax and enjoy a drink and some games. Upstairs, there is a bar and lots of fun games to play. I would definitely put this place on your list to visit while in the city. Great location between Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge.”

“Laid back sports bar with multiple tv’s, but at a volume that isn’t crazy high so you can still talk to your friends. Shrimp tacos were surprisingly the best thing. Brussel sprouts were good, but heavily fried. I thought the beyond burger was only good (the bun was a little cold). Fries were great though.”

“While this spot may not look like much from the outside it’s a solid choice for great food. We decided to explore the Sunset Park area, and while browsing reviews, menus and windows, we settled on Lucky eight. To be 100% honest there were at least three groups of women that went in before us, and to me that was an indication that the food must be good as they might traditionally be the ones preparing food in their homes, and if they want to eat here, so do I . The dining room is simple with a tank of lobsters and fish when you walk in, not all looking that spry but who would. We ordered slightly blindly off the lunch special menu, which was a great value. The egg drop soup was delicious and all of the other portions were quite large. Sweet-and-sour chicken scored, high marks, and there was some “boiled chicken” that came with a delicious ginger garlic sauce on the side that I can highly recommend. We always order snow pea leaves as they are often super fresh and delicious and that is exactly what we received here at Lucky eight. Another great choice if you want to get your greens in. I had wanted to order roasted pork ribs, but ended up with sweet-and-sour pork, which was good, but was heavy on the pineapple, I should be expected, my bad. The tea was on the table instantly and dark and delicious. The service was jovial and fun and efficient. If you were in the area and looking for a quick and easy lunch this is a great option.”

“This is my third time at Patrick's and they did not disappoint. We had a birthday celebration last night and the food was top notch from appetizers to entrees. I recommend the crab cakes. They melted in my mouth. Kudos to the chef last night. The server was pleasant and just the right amount of interaction. The vibe was awesome and we loved the Happy Birthday presentation. Patrick's is the local neighborhood secret.”
