“Updated review: Our first visit since the lockdown, so we were eager to get stuffed and play a game or two. This time, though, the waiter advised playing after eating. On our first visit, the order took some time to arrive, but it's a slow food kind of place and none of us minded. This time, the food arrived in a surprisingly short time. We had the stinco (slow roasted pork shin) and sauerkraut with juniper berries, which was sublime. We also had the spiced red wine, which was fantastic. After dinner we all had artisanal liquors that came in the cutest little potion bottles. Then with the food finished we played a few rounds of Exploding Kittens, which was hilarious. Overall the whole visit was great, and I only have one warning: either order one set of fries for the group, or skip lunch to make space. We made the mistake of getting fries for each of us, and we were unable to eat even half before we got stuffed. And for fries this good, it's a tragedy having to throw some of them away. That aside, I highly recommend visiting this fine restaurant for an evening of food and fun.”
