“We came here for dinner recently. It’s a popular place so you definitely have to make a reservation. We found it impossible to do this by phone and had a few hiccups booking online but finally managed to get it to work. Service at the restaurant was decent, about what you’d expect for a BBQ place. We got one of the sets (I think Set C) and added on a few extra items. Everything we really good. The restaurant is of course famous for their aged pork. They have aged beef, as well, but we didn’t try that. At the end of the meal, we had a cold noodle soup (물냉면) and a stew (차돌박이 된장찌개). Both were good and it was a plus that you could order the noodles in a regular or small sized portion. I would definitely go back. Note that if you order the fresh rice wine (생막걸리), you really have to give it a good shake and turn the bottle a few times, I mean like really mix it up. Overall, recommended.”

“Expensive yakiniku place but you don’t have to worry about the quality of meat here. The cuts we ordered were absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend the off-menu “sukiyaki” wagyu sirloin ($94 for 2 slices ouch). it comes marinated in yakiniku tare, cooked medium then rolled and dipped in raw egg. The meat melts in the mouth, combined with the creaminess of the raw egg and sweetness of the sauce, damn. Watching the waitress cook it on your grill is a nice experience too.”

“We visited this place for 3-4times. And tried different dishes. The restaurant is ran by Korean. It is authentic Korean cuisine. The atmosphere is chill and cozy. Our favorite food is the spicy chicken feet pot and the beef rib soup. The panchan판찬there are also nice and the waiter and waitress are responsive. Just that sometime they get really busy. It would be really lovely to go there for a sip of the hot soup on a rainy and cold morning. Really like this place a lot.”

Suggest maybe they can add numbering on the food, make it easier to order. (Eg: order 1,3,8) instead of pointing which one/ took the wrong one/ reconfirming order. I saw a customer point to the pepper chicken but the staff took the one next to it.”

Also, they do not have paynow or electronic payments unlike other stalls. They only deal by cash. This is a huge minus point here. Imagine you don't have cash with you. Service can be extremely slow. Expect to wait for 30 minutes to 1hr for the food. That's too long to wait actually. Overall, for the taste of the chicken, I would give 7/10. Service would be 4/10. Waiting time for food 2/10. Overall, they need to improve on their service, waiting time and the person taking the orders. Have to be a bit more friendly.”

“Great tasting lechon. I ordered the 500g for $24. Skin is very crispy, nice mild smokiness, good balance of fats and lean meat. Aromatics like spring onions, ginger, garlic and lots of lemongrass makes the meat very fragrant. It's lemongrass overload! Actually the lechon is flavourful enough that no sauce is needed for me.”
