“Very solid restaurant overall, especially recommended for meat lovers (but not only). We tried brisket and turkey as mains. Brisket was definitely more flavorful than turkey. I felt like the turkey was just okay- not super great but also not too bad, lacking salt for me. What I really really liked were burned brisket ends, garlic mashed potatoes (buttery soft and packed with garlic flavor), meaty bbq beans and pecan pie! For people who aren’t huge on meat I would recommend skipping the “main” dishes and ordering large sides and dessert. We were there on a Sunday night- not a single empty table, and the space is rather small w tables close to each other, so prepare to raise your voice if you really want to have a conversation.”

“We had lunch here and can definitely recommend stopping at Braai for food :) I went for the curry flavoured cauliflower and loaded fries which both were delicious. My company had chicken wings and especially enjoyed the BBQ sauce and a bacon and cheese burger that was very nice too. The ratio of price and quality of food is excellent and the staff has been really friendly too.”

“I accidentally stumbled upon this place looking for dinner near the Red Light District in Amsterdam. The place isn't that clean, but it's exactly what you expect from a hole-in-the-wall fried chicken joint. The fries are great, and the chicken is even better. I ordered a side of sambal that really pushed things over the top. Don't visit here if you want fine dining. This is great food at an affordable price.......nothing else.”
