“Fantastic, quirky cocktails in beautiful speakeasy decor. Service was immaculate, all kudos to our waiter, didn’t catch name but he is originally from Poland, never had such a nice and competent staff member. We had four cocktails and they brought extra limoncello on the house. We took duck pate to eat, highly recommended. You can take all small bath ducks you get with you. And don’t forget to go to the toilet, you will not be disappointed.”

“Just amazing! A cozy, comfy and non-typical bar. Very full of life. There's a possibility to sit on a kind of an attic (you climb up with ladders). Gets really crowded on weekends. Prices are low (~3 Euros for a beer and ~2 Euros for shots). Staff is very friendly and English speaking. My new favourite bar in Berlin!”

“Speakeasy-style bar with very fancy, elaborate cocktails. Its entrance is hidden - you have to press a doorbell labeled "Bar" and someone comes and opens for you - but not that difficult to find. The bartender and the main server like to start conversations with guests around the bar. Other guests sit in quiet tables nearby. Low lighting, low-volume music, very intimate atmosphere. Also: very nice and polite service (which is not a given in Berlin). One of my favorite memories from my Berlin trip.”

“Tasteful and Cozy interior, good service. A reservation is needed, otherwise as a walk-in you get a 2 hours limit, which can be tight, if you want to have also more drinks. The food was really good. The duck-leg especially was great. And the tartar was good. A bit too small portions, but this is unfortunately always the case in most fancy restaurants. Card payments also possible.”

“We ordered food the waiter attacked us because we had water, after she told us we couldn’t drink our own water and we understood she insisted we leave. While we were leaving she PHISICALLY and verbally attacked us with racist slur. I have never had such a terrible experience. After talking to the manager no action or empathy was shown. Will never come back and do not recommend this place to anyone.”

“Ordered a beer passing by….asked for the bill and to pay by card and the rude waiter who walked around all night like a Kaiser said it was a minimum €15 to pay by card…..nowhere in the menu/doorway does it say this. Presumed manager behind the bar was arguing backing this up and told him to call the Polizei because the bar is fraudulent. The waiter said to me he told me he told me it is €15 by card when I sat down….I called him a liar and he tried to grab me. I pushed him away and the manager’ said he is in the phone to the Polizei as I called his Waiter a liar…I waited as I looked forward to being arrested for calling him a liar and to point out this horrible bar did not have appropriate signage for their payment requirements. I waited for the Polizei for 10mins after the ‘manager’ said he was calling them. No one turned up…. This manager grabbed a plastic cup and tried to grab the beer in my hand and tell me it Needs to be taken away after asking me where I was from….. I told him I’m from England and to go away as I’ve done nothing wrong and I will sit at the bar and drink the rest of my beer I’ve paid for and wait for the Polizei to come….10-15 mins later, no one turned up. I had finished my beer. I said auf wiedersehen to the manager and he looked at the floor as I left. Racist manager and egotistical waiter who thinks he’s the bees knees…. Avoid if a tourist as the treatment of other locals in the bar is different…..so immature to treat people differently in a bar in the centre of what was West Germany…..this bar acts as though it belongs in East Berlin in the 60’s!!!! To the Polizei, I’m at The Hoxton, Charlottenburg for the next 2 nights before I fly back to London and I would love to talk about this fraudulent bar.l that treated me like a criminal for wanting to pay for a beer by card. To any tourist/local like….Avoid avoid avoid.”

Such a cool place to hang out and the staff were super friendly even with my rubbish German. 100% recommend making this your target drinks destination.”
