Three Muses
4.4
( 16 reviews ) $$

536 Frenchmen St, New Orleans, LA 70116, United States

“This is one of our favorite places! The food is delicious and the cocktails tasty. Plus the have live music! Highly recommend making a reservation as it is a small venue and we watch them turn walk ins away. I just wish they would expand their menu a little bit to include a few more dishes. Seems like it may still be limited from Covid. Maybe even just a fried rice with choice of protein and some type of dessert, I suggest something simple like green tea ice cream!”

The Harbor Bar & Grill

“Vito the bartender is one of the best reasons to go here. I went in years ago and met him briefly. Had a great time. Went back two years later - he greeted me by name. Let me repeat that - HE GREETED ME BY NAME!?!???!!! Who the HECK can do that??? Vito can. And I'm not an anomaly. He's like that with everyone. Vito has a few different young female protege's who are friendly and prompt on their own, but must be learning a priceless bar education under his kind, warm, affable tutelage. The atmosphere is an old bar, but a comfortable one like a fine leather glove that you've had for years but only gets better with every wearing. You've got the main bar, that fits oh so many of my different moods. An outdoor patio for eating, socializing, what have you. A pool table area where I've drawn friends into fun contest where the stakes were fun and high, but doable. (I lost the bet). There is a restaurant area has almost a diner feel, which can be fun in it's own regard and has poker machines. This place has many faces, all of them good. The food is great - burgers, fries, appetizers, but always good. I can always go for one of their burgers, and you will to. Now I go back whenever I'm in town. I would challenge anyone, ANYONE who is open and game (and a few who are not) to go there and NOT have a good time. You will be hard pressed to not enjoy yourself. Like the song says, "If you go there once, you'll be there twice."”

“So I’m not a fan of malort, but the pumpkin flavor they do for fall is pretty fantastic. Great locals bar with a good dive bar atmosphere and drinks.”

Carrollton Station
4.6
( 10 reviews )

8140 Willow St, New Orleans, LA 70118, United States

“One of my favorite (mostly locals) places to go to in New Orleans. I happened upon Carrollton Station when I lived down the street over a summer in 2021 and since then I've been back many times over the past couple of years. This place never disappoints and you will always find a friend in a stranger along with a good brew or cocktail and yummy scrumptious food!”

Rampart Treehouse

Closed until 11:00 AM

740 N Rampart St, New Orleans, LA 70116, United States

“A friend suggested that we go to Rampart Treehouse and we are very happy we did. The Treehouse is a quirky (in the best way) New Orleans local bar. The decor is really over the top, with a wooden tree fashioned as if it is growing from the bar. The drinks are very good and the people are friendly and engaging. A really great bar with a great view of Armstrong Park.”

Fred's On The River
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 10:00 AM

LA-431, Prairieville, LA 70769, United States

“I didn't eat here, except for free spaghetti cooked as a tail gate meal. I'm not sure if the person that cooked it was an owner or just a loyal patron. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. The drinks were a bit on the higher end, but for the crowd draw, acceptable. The bar had plenty of room indoors and out, with a full bar at each. The atmosphere was festive and friendly, and the view on the creek was great. I highly recommend a stop in.”

“What a blast! The courtyard at The Rabbit Hole is absolutely fabulous, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a great time. The overall ambiance flows seamlessly, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy. The dance floor is where the real fun begins. The sound quality is top-notch, ensuring crystal-clear music that gets everyone grooving. Even if you're not typically a dancer, this place might just change your mind – give the dance floor a shot! Oh, and let's not forget the smoke machine – it adds that extra touch of excitement to the experience. In summary, The Rabbit Hole is a solid 10/10 for a fun night out with great music, atmosphere, and dancing opportunities!"”
