“The food, while it looked great, was totally BLAND! Gumbo had no flavor salt barely helped it. The crab cake sandwich was super mushy with nothing but filled. After one bite the patty just fell apart. The fries were good. The band did what they were supposed to do. The service was super slow and everyone’s food came out separately and so far between that we had to ask the waiter a few times about our food and drinks. It took about 20-30 minutes to get 3 shots. By time we got them it was time to head out the door and the band was over.”

“So many good things happening here! I am not a beer drinker 🤣 but took my husband for a birthday date. I have to say I did really like the cherry cider and appreciated that they had a non alcoholic option that was served just like all their other drinks. Also the plant lover in me was all about checking out all their spider plants and big beautiful babies everywhere! We found a big comfy couch to chill on while ordering food on the iPad at the door for the BBQ place next door. And the best part is in the cold those sweet people brought our yummy food to us at the brew house! They also have a corner of kids toys like cars and board games! Overall the service was great and we really enjoyed this sweet spot!”

“Nice little neighborhood sports bar. They have plenty of TVs. They have darts, pool table, and shuffleboard. They also have a very nice patio. They have great food. Love the fried dill pickle spears, pretzel bites, and their pizza is surprisingly good. It is kind of heavy. They have party rye bread with cheese and sausage like you would have in the neighbors basement in the 70’s. I miss the fried cannelloni bites. They also had really good fried chicken back in the day. They possibly have the best well Bloody Mary in St. Louis. Drinks are affordable. The crowd can get kind of loud and rambunctious later in the evening is the only negative”

“I had lunch here for the first time because of a recommendation. Now, I am recommending the Hideout Bar & Grill. I expected their food to be good, but it exceeded my expectations. The wings were very large, hot off the fire, seasoned well, juicy, tender, slightly crispy, and mouth watering delicious. I didn’t need or want any sauces on my wings because they were already perfect. The fries and onion rings were also very good and hot, not warmed under a lamp. The portions were large and tasty. We will return soon because I started craving the food again the next day.”

“I did not know what to expect as I was attending a show with a friend. I really loved how straightforward everything was. They had a cooler with water you could refill your own cup. I was served my wine out of a can, which sounds kind of not great but it is because the wine is never corked like it might be another bar situations where the drinkers mostly order beer or liquor. And I got two glasses out of it for the $10. That was a deal! They had lots of options available for drinking. You can have your own food brought in as they do not offer food service. Everyone was super nice and welcoming and friendly. I loved the decor and the stage area was neat and nice. It also had good sound for the setup. A really nice little bonus as they put phone chargers at the lamps on the booths in the bar area. Great idea! A little thing that goes a long way.”

“My cousin took me here for lunch, saying what a great place it was. It was. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, very festive for the holidays, and the food was just fabulous. The hamburger was juicy, the bun was fresh, and the onion rings were some of the better ones I've ever had. They should ask Uncle Jack for some new coffee mugs though, mine looked a bit sad. :) I'll be back for sure, lots of choices on their menu that I want to try.”

“Nice neighborhood bar. Servers are not very friendly and almost seem bothered at times. They were not overly busy, so maybe all had a bad day. They always checked on our table, nice. A smile and a little convo about your drink menu goes a long way. We didn't order food because we had just eaten dinner. Our family that lives nearby says that is normal. Our drinks were very good. Wish they were more welcoming”

“Really disappointed with the experience here. A couple of the musicians were really talented but the rest were embarrassing to listen to. Playing several instruments poorly is not what we were expecting in a piano bar at all. The music selections were like from a cheap wedding. We paid $140 (you get a $40 drink credit) for a table and were excited to be seated right up front but after like 2 songs the whole front area was filled with people dancing (terribly) and so we couldn't see the musicians at all. Plus everyone was really drunk so they were spilling drinks everywhere and bumping into our table trying to shove the chairs out of the way. Complete rip off. The server was either really slow or just totally overwhelmed so the drinks took forever. We've been to piano bars before and so I was really excited for high quality musicians and a good show but all we really got were a couple dudes screaming into a mic, one really good female singer and a TON of very drunk college kids and their parents. So weird. Definitely don't waste your money here.”

“I was in awe of how the space was put together. You can tell the layout was very intentional and conducive to hanging out with multiple groups of people. Not only did they have a main area, they had a few side areas, an area with art in it, and an area leading to restrooms with seats if the music became overwhelming for those with auditory needs. The venue was colorful and well put together. The art was tasteful and elicited conversation. It was overall a great time. I also very much appreciated that this place had gender neutral restrooms.”
