“Friday night we had our Christmas do. There was 20 of us and Sumit (our waiter) definitely had his work cut out for him. He was amazing!! 2 of us came early to set up and took full advantage of the "Buy one get one free" offer on the cocktails. The food was delicious too. The only thing we were a little unhappy about is the discretionary service charge. We knew nothing about this until we were given the bill. There were 3 of us girls left at the end of the night to sort the bill out. The manager got funny with us as we said we didn't want to pay it. We had a tip in cash already so wanted to pay that directly to our waiter. So in the end we took the service charge off the bill. They should really make sure people are fully aware of this when they're booking or just being sat down. It isn't fair to throw this on a bill at the end of the night without any notice.”

“From humble beginnings a few years ago, this place has really expanded. Even since last summer, it's opened up into a wide cow shed to the side of the initial bar area. The new section, bedecked with beer barrels along the walls, looks like a venue for a beer festival - an impression that is enhanced by the wide selection of beers on offer. It's now a very pleasant venue, with plenty of staff on hand. The Old Dairy beers are still very good. The only downside is that the food is quite amateurish, a food truck that couldn't make any food (due to some issue with electric). Consequently, we left to find lunch elsewhere.”

A great selection of champagne, beers, wines, and hot beverages and very snug and comfortable bar area with plenty of outside seating with great views over the sea will certainly be recommending it to others. “What an amazing night at the grapevine last night. Had many nights here, but yesterday my friends arranged a surprise 'hen-do' and had booked a table of 12 at the Grapevine. Im not usually one to write reviews, but the hospitality was second to none, so they well and truly deserve a mention. The girls who looked after us were so attentive and couldn't do enough for not only our hen party but everyone in the restaurant. They are a huge credit to the grapevine and know how to please their customers and attend to their every need. They interacted with all customers and even joined in with some singing dancing and made it such a lovely, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. At one point, the staff put on our hen party's masks (mine and my husband to be faces) and came over to the table all singing Bruno Mars with with a complimentary shot and sparklers They sure know how to get a crowd going and keep them going! Keep it up girls, you made our night! We will all be back! Thank you all so much. Xx”
